Artists/Song's that sum up your childhood
I'm a late 90's/early 00's kid and proud. Britney Spears (BOMT, Lucky, Ooops in particular), Nsync, Backstreet Boys, S Club 7, Christina, Steps, S Club Juniors (fancied Frankie then and still do now!), Billie Piper, Spice Girls stuff like that. I was very into Pop music when I was little and still have my extensive late 90's singles collection at home. I don't listen to them ever but I just don't have the heart to sell them

I was born in 1992, so for me Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Eminem, S Club 7, Steps, etc.
And particular songs like Believe by Cher, I'm Blue by Eiffel 65, Ooh Aah Just a Little Bit by Gina G, Boom Boom Boom Boom by Vengaboys, Barbie Girl by Aqua, etc. |

Was born in 1990 and I listened to Britney Spears, S Club 7, Spice Girls, S Club Juniors, Westlife (yes I did like them as a kid even though I can't stand them now), Vengaboys
I also liked B*Witched's C'est La Vie and I have the album on cassette somewhere. I was also introduced to ABBA when I was about 6 or 7 and I had the Gold album on cassette so I could listen to it on my Walkman (yep had one for the car - remember carrying a bag of tapes with me all the time! the ipod/iphone [i have an ipod touch which is essentially an iphone without the phone features] is so much easier tho).

When We Were Young by Whipping Boy.
It's a fairly recent song so I didn't grow up with it but it sums up my teenage years pretty well. Out of songs I grew up with I would have to say any Hair Metal band does it as I am an 80s child. |

The song that reminds me of my childhood is Bang Bang by B A Robertson.
An odd choice I know, but it was released just before I started secondary school in 1979 and brings back loads of memories. |

Steps. I wasn't a really a fan but hearing their songs again after news of the reunion, particularly "Heartbeat" and "5,6,7,8", takes me back to being 10/11!

Im no big fan of her or anything but her early music makes me nostalgic. Also early Blur and Oasis for my teen years |

My brother and my friends used to collect all the NOW albums and listen to them together, I haven't bought a NOW cd in years!
Missing by Everything but the girl reminds me of sitting in the back seat of my dad's car, loved that song and it's one of my favourites now. Also I used to love Gangstas Paradise by Coolio and thought I was amazing cause I could rap it all And I liked dance music such as ATB, York, Darude ,Sash. |

Would be Sum 41 for me, their first album came out ten years ago when i was 9/10, it was the first album i had ever bought and it was a great album to listen to on summers nights when it wouldn't even be completly dark by the time i was sleep. Have stuck by them for 10 years and their albums have not dissapointed bar one but it always sucks when your favourite band member leaves!
