James has tweeted that both he and Ola have been told they are not 'required on the Strictly Tour'

I think this is the beginning of the end for the Jordans...I am suprised....BBC obviously not expecting either Robbie or Alex to win Strictly.

I can only thing the tour is going to have a different format this year.

Woah - wonder if this had anything to do with James's rant over rumbagate

I feel sorry for Ola who is a lovely person - but I can't say I am surprised

To be honest I have already seen James and Ola twice so I would rather see Flavia,Brendan or even Erin for a change.

I think they just want new blood on the tour- ie all the Russians. Seats have to be sold.
If returning tour audiences keep seeing the same pros, maybe they'll not return.

Now that is a shame, a great shame. Both are good dancers and good characters: assets to the show. Dear husband & dear son will miss one of the Jordans quite a bit...

I think she's adorable - as long as she doesn't do choreography - but he's a pain in the rear. I'd hate to go on tour with him.

I loved going on tour, but we never had a James in the pack, thank the lord!

Wow feel gutted for them I met them last year lovely people but I would like to see some of the other pro's.

One question why is Alesha never on the tour?

I can understand that - but maybe the decision has been taken over James's direct nature- maybe it has been a case of stepping out of line one too many times (in their opinion)

Via e-mail? Oh dear, that's not nice.

I've only seen the tour once, and James was partnered with Cherie that year. He was really supportive of her, and it made me change my opinion of him.

Mind you, it's changed back a bit since then................

I don't know about prior years but I know that Brendan has his own show touring in the new year so isn't available for the tour.

A bit off to tell them by email. Maybe they were too scared of James' reaction to tell him in person!

Neither of them has a particularly likeable celeb, so it might just be a practical decision.

BBC has poor form when it comes to emails.

Wasn't Hayley Holt sacked via e-mail too?

Seems typical.

I guess like Darren and Lilia they have served their purpose, what's the chances too, of them not being invited back next year for the series?

Told by e-mail? won't be the first.

I'd rather lose Tess.

And Nicole was dismissed by email, after being made to wait weeks or months.

Not surprised but I also think an email is off. Can't stand him but she is quite sweet.

Im sure the new pros will be there(Pasha, Artem and Robbie).
Its a bit cowardly to send a rejection by e-mail.

Is this because of James's strop two weeks ago (was it two weeks) ? If so, shame Ola has to be punished too. But then again, they are a couple - would be odd to have Ola without James.

Wsa it ever made known why the Bennets left? And what about Ian and Matthew Cutler - I just assumed they had decided to go themselves...?
