I wondered if their days were numbered last sunday.... in the pro girls dance I noticed that Ola lost her step... to me the other girls looked better than her.. and I love Ola !

Was thinking of all the old pros last night when Ian Waite was on ITT.

Wondering what Darren 'the wig' Bennett was up to now, and of course Lillia.

Do we miss them? ...... No, not really!

The Jordan's are quite  by now and who wants to see the same old pros on the tour, especially when they have some great new talent like Pasha and Artem.

I think the show evolves and we soon get to know and lie the new pros. Shame that Brian Fortuna only had a couple of series.

Would be relieved to see Anton retired too, he's never been the best dancer, his Latin is deficient and now is only there to get the duffer celeb!!

The Russian revolution is taking over ..... they are damn good dancers though.

I really miss Camilla though - she was a brilliant choreographer- knew how to push the boundaires without stepping over the line- she created some amazing routines

I wonder which 'lucky' pro will have the pleasure of partnering Nancy, as Anton doesn't usually do the tour?

Who can forget Camillas show dance with Tom Chambers that stole the show and won them the glitter ball.

Poor her, not even allowed to make one mistake! She's only human, and she wouldn't be the first pro to mess up in a pro dance, nor the last I'm sure.

I don't think Nancy would have the commitment to do the tour. I got the impression she was lazy and just in it for the publicity and to show her body off to the next rich bloke she could sponge off.

It's not a wig! It's his own hair! And I would love to see Lilia back again. I still miss her.

I was wondering if any of the female professionals like Erin & Ola would be doing the whole children thing shortly and would have to leave the show if they did

That's not a big deal though, it's one dance, and they're not all going to dance exactly the same every week! All the other girls have outdanced Erin in Latin for years, she outdances them in ballroom, that's usual. But each of them are going to have better dances than others, and I think it's ridiculous to think that she's in trouble just because of one dance...

Not really much of a tour is it? Considering Anton, Erin, Brendan, Flavia and Vincent, and now the Jordans aren't involved... it's only 3 professional pairings, unless Flav and Vince are tempted away from the West End (unlikely) Or likewise Anton, Erin and Brendan from their own shows...”

Doubt very much about poor Artem, his back injury could be very bad (six months rest even). OLA! The tour organisers want their heads examined not to include her!

Craig is in charge of the tour. He's not keen on Brendan nor James nor on anyone else who pipes up. Quite a nice historical touch, for Christmas if, there's a connection....very Dickensian ie keep your eyes to the floor, doff your cap, tug forelock, say " Yes sir" and you might ,keep your job.
In addition, maybe the management , is in culling mood again. If we don't get attached to any dancers in particular, it would certainly keep the wage bill down because they can be replaced every half hour, if need be.
Those who don't like James ...ok..but it could be anyone, next time and the time after. Could end up with all. the male pro dancers being like that American guy last year and a bunch of floor mops with frocks on, for the females.

.
Wouldn't it be nice to know who makes the decisions and the reasons behind them.

Brian Fortuna was dropped after his BBC3 wheelchair dancing show where the Jordans were judges. I suspect the hand of Craig or Len in the choice of pro-dancers fo both the show and the tour. Petty jealousy and bloody-mindedness probably figures in their decisions just as much as dancing ability.

I doubt Craig or especially Len would have got rid of Darren, Lilia, Matt or Ian. Len in particular would not want to lose four dancers who had represented Britain at a very high level in favour of 'flashy' dancers who don't choreograph the same classic technical routines he likes. If Len had a hand in it, you could expect Brendan to start with would have gone, and James and Ola as well.

I think it's right to say that the decision was made by producers who wanted the show to be more flashy, exciting and (perhaps) controversial. For me it was the wrong decision (yes I do still miss all four!) but they're still getting the viewers so from their point of view I guess it's all gone ok.

I don't think Len likes James or Brendan very much and it's more his style to get pissy if someone dares contradict him. Craig I don't think is bothered - he danced with Widdy after all. I used to think there was a bit of grudge match between Craig and Brendan but Craig was at Brendan's wedding so it can't be that serious.

You sure? I've not heard that before - can you provide a link?

Or are you simply repeating something a man down the pub told you, because it fits in with your own prejudices?
