I read some of these out to my OH and when I read out Sue Perkins with Flavia there was a strange thud as he fell off his chair, followed by: "Yes please!"

OMG. Yes. I'd even go to a live show if he appeared. But he won't of course. He'd never do anything as naff as SCD. Wild horses etc, besides which he lives in the US now anyway.

As they like older people who used to be famous, how about Brucie's ex-wife Anthea Turner?

He can resurrect his long dead catchphrase "Give us a twirl"

Also this guy would be a great replacement for Brucie should he ever change his mind about being a TV presenter again... Matthew Kelly would be a fun contestant.

Yep you are right. I pictured her and still put the wrong name. If I'm making such simple mistakes sober you wait until I've had a few beers.

I'll be suggesting and arguing aggresively that Sooty should be a future contestant owing to his previous history and experience of Celtic dancing

Dara is such a big guy I think he would be out quickly. It would be like watching a woman moving a wardrobe on her own.
