I didn't find her particularly nice in the edits. She looked to me like she was planning on being one of those who coast through to the finals by being invisible (like Helen in the main show) - doing enough to avoid being thought of as not contributing much (like Ben) but not enough to draw the camera's attention. She would never have volunteered herself for PM if LS hadn't appointed her.

What really annoyed me about her was when she tried to claim in the boardroom that Harry wasn't solely responsible for selling those horrible triffid things at a whopping profit - when we had been shown that the sale was entirely down to him. Maybe she was trying to protect Gbemi, but she basically accused Harry of glory seeking at best or lying at worst. Its a shame that Karen or Nick wasn't there to see it and knock both of the little madams back!

Anyway - that is two boardrooms that Harry has survived - so hopefully the others will grow up a bit and realise that LS must see something in him to have saved him twice. And they now know that he won't roll over and die when they tell fibs/ stretch the truth about him - he will fight back if he's in the right!

I'm not too clear on the maths but she could probably argue that the extra profit she got on the two she did get outweighed the loss of profit on the hotel - don't forget that the £165 had overheads. Hannah sadly made the classic mistake of starting with a low price - she should have tested the water with Harry M's price and then cut it if no-one was buying.
Lord Sid had said at the top of the program he wanted risk takers after all - would be a bit rich to then sack someone for taking risks...”

They won at 175, but got 150 as they failed to deliver - I would have given them the 50 for what little they produced. .Zara was undercut by a price that in the event they couldn't perform to.

On the positive side, she did the same thing to 2 other prices from her PM and without the extra she got there her team would have been much further behind. She also got the two orders by tailoring her design bid to the requirement. And on the big failing point of her team, not adding enough profit mark up, she was the one who actually over-rode that wrong decision. Far more positives than negatives there and more than anyone else on her team.

Actually, it only puts the winning price at 150 (which was the amount they were paid). Even further away from the 200 that Zara offered.

A similar tactic got Laura fired a few series back (mind you, Zara could be more of a Stella, who was also heavily implicated in that disaster).

Fact of the matter is she got it wrong, as the failed to understand the brief which was given. Her presenting skills won the two other deals, but from a business point of view it was very shaky.

That was Harry M

She understood that the aim was to make as much as possible. She may have misunderstood whether she was putting in one final bid or negotiating. But as she got two contracts anyway - when none of them had any experience in costing or the flower market - getting one wrong wasn't important. The instinct for profit and getting two bids right, seem to explain Lord Sugar's wondering why she was there in the boardroom at all - because its those instincts he's looking for..

All Harry M did of any significance was to sell the unsellable plant - but you can either credit him with selling that or argue its entirely random whether you find someone who will buy what anyone else wouldn't? He got the idea on pricing - but it went nowhere because he can't convince people.

That shot of the mantlepiece flowers was so funny, lol.

She's only 16. I'm hoping she'll learn from this. She gave a good explanation of why she upped the price. Bearing in mind what was wanted £165 sounded a bit cheap to me anyway.

Agreed. I think they would also be asked to look up the meaning of the word 'Ruby' and to find flowers that reflected the colour and the sense of occasion for a Ruby Wedding anniversary. Those orange/red gerberas just didn't cut it!

James reminds me of Gordon Brown, seeing the preview of the final and the No10 door behind him was quite prophetic. I hope his game isn't about running for Prime Minister because I thought of that years ago, never got around to being a media magnet though.

I'm fired.

Zara reminds me of Margaret Thatcher - even got the drawling vowel sounds.
