He was so appreicative of everything in the show, you could even hear him going 'Ooh Hello' when JLS performed at the end of Xtra Factor.

Thoroughly nice chap. Not everyone's cup of tea I grant you.

Hope he does well.

I would love Johnny to come back but you have a good point. If he did come back he stands the chance of ending up in the bottom 2 with Kitty and getting stabbed in the back by Louis for a second time.

I'm torn between wanting him back and just being happy for him as he's left the competition with his dignity in tact and with a lot of love for him.

Only this time, that argument stands up even less to scrutiny.

You haven't paid money to get rid of anybody... you've paid money to say whom you like. It's a vote to save. So bringing back someone that you didn't happen to like anyway is not invalidating your vote... you never paid to say you wanted them gone.

In any case, you're not paying for an outcome. You haven't paid to save or eliminate anyone; you've paid to express an opinion. If loads of people express the same opinion as you, then yay. But it's not guaranteed. Would you start demanding your money back because the person you voted to save got eliminated? Because that's essentially the same argument you're espousing.

I'm not saying Johnny should be brought back, by the way - I loved him but he'd just get eliminated again, so what's the point... plus such producer favouritism would be distasteful, as it was in BB7. I'm just pointing out how facile and fallible the "good money" argument is... Endemol/C4 should never have had to give that voting money back all those years ago. Yes, it still annoys me!”

I tend to disagree; it is clear it is a very grey area.

I like Johnny, but prefer Little Mix and Misha (and Marcus).

I voted for Misha and Little Mix last week. They are now one step further and there are less contestants in their way. Bringing one back would technically be unfair as that just puts them a step back in achieving what I want one of them to achieve.

It's not Big Brother. The premise of the show isn't to evict who you hate the most.
The premise is that you vote to save who you like.

As Johnny was the last person to go then I'd have no problem bringing him back.

If Johnny got more votes than Kitty then I think he definitely deserves to be there.
The double eviction also seemed to be very unfair that week as it's not the usual way of doing things.

Maybe Johnny could come back as not eligible to win but in an entertainment slot. He was my guilty pleasure too and kept me watching.
I would like to see the Little Mix girls win. They have really worked at being a group and it is paying off.

But he has been voted off, based on lack of votes. If they were to bring back a contestant who had been voted off (due to low public votes) I would say bring Johnny back as it is only fair (even though I prefer Sophie) beause he was the last one to leave.

However, it would simply be unfair and I hope Johnny fans realise this.

If they are to bring any contestants back (which, again I dont think they should) it should be one of the 4 contestants who was eliminated by the judges and not based on our votes. Obviously, the choice would be Amelia.

Even so, I find it a bit hypocritical when some forum members slate the fact Ashford was brought back into The Risk, and then I see some of the same ones asking for Johnny to be reinstated!

Oh, and as a footnote, Mr Blonde you have my condolences ”

I dont agree. Johnny was either 2nd or 3rd, and the Judges sent him home. He may have got more votes than Kitty - so TECHNICALLY he wasnt voted off - only tThe Risk were.

If ANYONE is brought back it should be Johnny. if you bought any of the first 4 that went back, you have two/three issues.

Firstly your bringing someone back the judges discarded BEFORE they discarded Johnny - how is that fair?

Secondly, if they brought back one of those 4 - ANY contestant that has already left via votes/judges descision could make a complaint because IF they had faced the "recalled act" in the week they went out - they may NOT have gone out.

Thirdluy - and kind of linked, the "recalled acts" have to survive fewer weeks then the original contestants, they may well get a surge vote that leads to one of the remaining contestants leaving JUST because they have been recalled.

Non of that is fair. The choices are simple. Bring back Johnny to get the contestant numbers back to where they were planned to be at this stage - or recall NOBOBODY and re-jig the show format to make it work with those left.

Im not Johnny fan - I quite liked him, but not enough to vote.

Not at all - They will be in the same situation if someone (not necessarily Johnny) is brought back - as they would have been if Frankie had not been booted.

Johnny WASN'T voted off. In fact,he wasn't bottom 2 as often as Karaoke Kitty has been.

They didn't dare risk letting the public decide, because the public would likely have kept Johnny, who has an odd but technically reasonably good voice and sings well sometimes, over the consistently mediocre KaraokeKitty.

Chancs are they just wanted to make sure she was in to tribute act her way through a Ga Ga song,((again :yawnhave an "emotional" video clip with the real Ga Ga,and shout her way through a Queen song(again :yawn

Johnny was more popular, and deservedly so. It is unlikely, and in a way, acts shouldn't be brought back, but would be great, to have him back.

I wouldn't mind if Amelia got a second chance, either. She really got thrown under the bus with that song/dance/styling fiasco week-1,and still was better than some who stayed.

Still, the acts should know going in that it's not about just talent .

Bringing any act back is so wrong!!

A lot of the arguments against bringing acts back fall flat when they have already done it with The Risk.

One band member resigns and gets replaced by an already eliminated singer.

One could argue he shouldn't have gone in the first place because Teacosie shouldn't been in the finals at all.

Nobody paid to eliminate these acts. People paid to save the acts that they wanted to keep in the competition
