Jason was way out in front week one obviously helped by his show experience and loads of energy
Now? Natural dance performers have played catch-up and in the case of at least two contestants have passed beyond Jason
Jason simply fails on three levels:
1.-He has a most unatractive face whilst attempting dance character
2. - His actual dance skills have advanced but barely
3.-His routines as opposed to the improving contestants always contain posing by the overload
For me he is less skilled than Matt Baker but suffers the same handicap of not understanding that his role is to frame his partner and not the other way around

He has a head like a pineapple with the leaves sticking out the top. That's okay, lots of vitamin C

Inclined to agree re lack of progress. It does make me suspect he had had quite a lot of tuition before the show began which pushed up his skill level very swiftly but now he isn't progressing so much. I do feel a little sorry for him because I think he is actually a nice enough guy, just very boring with some truly terrible facial tics! It does make me wonder how he was ever a heart throb. The 80's were really a strange decade, weren't they?

Great, yet ANOTHER Jason bashing thread. How fabulous, must have been at least a day since the last one. Look, everyone is entitled to like who they want, I'm not keen on some of the other celebs but I don't spend all my time slagging them off. I don't think he's leagues above the others, he just did well in the first few dances and set the standard. I heard him on the radio on Sunday and he was really kind about how the others had performed so well on the saturday show. Sounded completely genuine and relaxed about the whole thing. Yes he's taking the training seriously because he doesn't have natural dancing flair. Having followed him for many years I can honestly say he's a very kind and honest bloke. He wasn't full of self pity for his score and completely accepted that the dance hadn't gone down well despite hm and Kristina quite enjoying it. I don't believe he has a game plan, just think people are getting him wrong. Yes he's given some very boring speeches after his dances but I think this is a nervous sort of reaction to having just danced in front of so many millions of people. I keep sort of hoping Kristina will nudge him to shut him up. Maybe his deadpan reaction to an exciting experience is why he gets on so well will Gary Barlow! In all honesty though I think people are out to get him on here and I really don't think it's justified. Lets give all the celebs some respect for what they're achieving every weekend xxx

And I think he is making progress, thought bewitched last week was by far the best dance of the show. Everyone's allowed an off week and on here he can't win can he? Do well and he's accused of being semi professional already (which in dancing, he wasn't). Do bad and get accused of not improving enough. I hope people get behind him and keep him in as I really want to see what they can do.

I think Jason has every chance of making the final, he is training very hard and viewers love Kristina and her choreography.
