I would be surprised if they reinstated anyone at this stage. If they did they may have to bring back a contestant that wasn't voted out by the public, so one of the 4 the mentors had to get rid of. In this situation James seems like the logical option. Just can't see it happening though. Maybe they'll have a vote on who to bring back, turn this into a moneyspinner.

James returning would be fair in regards to how he actually left, and his category ... but some might see it as unfair that it's like a fast-track from Week 1 to Week 6.

I maintain than Johnny should be the one to return if anybody does.

What is fair about bringing someone back that after facing the public vote? Last weekend, Johnny didn't receive enough votes and ended up in the bottom 2 or 2 and was then eliminated.
If the public wanted him there, more would have voted for him.

If anyone should be coming back it should be James imo. Saying it is not fair to be brought back at this late stage, just why do you think that, if James was brought back he would be at a disadvantage not an advantage, he has no fan base to speak of.. Unfortunately for me it is a shame as I like James but think Gary should pay the price of his own stupidity and not have any one added to his category.

Shayne Ward is doing very well in the West End atm.

Instead of someone going home this week, they could have a public vote between the four initial acts who were booted off.

Also James would be disadvantaged by not having several weeks of experience performing live, unlike the others.

I think the solution though is to bring back Wagner.
