Camera geek warning! Looking at the digital data attached to the photos, they were shot on a Sony SLT-A33, which is an entry-level DSLR. Basically, not the camera of a pro photographer, but someone who wants to take good photos with more than just a point-and-shoot.

I'd guess it's Liam's camera, as he was also on the boat. It helps that there's this really gorgeous golden morning light, and J&E's natural flair for posing, but there's also some great composition in those shots.

Basically the tweet just said "The BBC have hired Jedward...their problem now." its not from anyone in the know as far as I can tell ...but this person is based in Ireland so may have read the article..or they could be refering to Jewards Great Adventure as you say..

i think the photos were taken by Liam. they don't look professional to me - just fine. and the camera that John was holding was for Toy Show as I understand as they were filming for it in New York that's why they were skating and so on.
BBC relative stuff is all about their tv show for CBBC, so there is nothing new there.

And the info from the "insider" is pretty much gleaned from the BBC press release, or is stuff that any Jedicated fan knows anyway.

But still - it's good, positive press.
