Id like to unappreciate the thought of Greyson and Nancy on the SCD Tour next year... One of them would be bad enough, but both would be a disaster.... one that would only be made worse by the presence of Blooloo - although I cant see that happening thankfully.

Agreed.I wonder how many couples there will be in total?

See, I don't really mind boring. I'm not that interested in the Exciting Celebs And Their Thrilling Lives.

OK, boring will never win the competition, but it'll get him to the semis at least.

Brendans only been on the show for 9 series - you'd think people would know how to spell his effing name.

Winds me up.

Yeah, but boring person + boring dancing is just pointless. They are supposed to entertain us.

Actually, come to think of it, I find boring dancing unforgivable

OT but I massively unappreciate Mike Ashley, and may have to after him with a chainsaw and a blowtorch.

Back on topic - Greyson makes me gag, and not in a good way. (Is there a good way?)

I think Flavia and Katya need to be given the option to go with Natalie (and Erin if it's ballroom) next time- leave the pop-stripper-cabaret stuff to Aliona, Kristina and Ola. Poor both of them. At least they've both had a chance to dance their own thing in the past couple of weeks.

Mind you, at least the girls managed to look like a more or less coherent group (as long as you didn't look Katya or Flavia in the eye). The boys' routine was a state from beginning to end. Timing issues all over the place, they hadn't agreed on a style of movement, Brendan was over-dancing (/being melodramatic) and pulling focus, James was alternating over-dancing and doing nothing (and pulling focus), and Robin apparently took "small movements" to mean "try to make it look like your arms and shoulders are disappearing into your body." Pasha and Matt were mostly non-offensive, I think. *shrug*

Ok, it's official I am losing my marbles, but I really did not hate that dance as much as everyone else, it wasn't brilliant but there was dancing, which is more than you can say for that mess that Ourleona serves up every week, and Harry is too boring to carry it off. Dear God I am defending Greyson

Sofa, kitties and meds never a good combination so good luck.

Seriously unappreciating the thought of Michael Ball doing the red button commentary this weekend with Karen. Guess no red button for me..

I never minded Chelsee Hightower. OK, she's bland, inoffensive, can't choreograph and seemed to be there only for her sub-Julianne Hough cute little all-American-ness, but not that bad...

I mean, she's not Lacey.

Oh, said poster does know. And certainly can copy and paste it without changing it. I think the winding-you-up is supposed to happen.

Most of the problem with that rumba was the occasional outbreak of <- that face, coupled with no chemistry. But I've seen a lot worse. Besides, just think what Russell's rumba might be like...

I have erected a shrine and sacrified several annoying clients to the Dancing Gods that spared us the Widdy/Anton rumba that they will, once again, act rather than make us suffer that

Just watching DWTS Halloween week. Note to OurLeona - *that's* how you choreograph a Halloween Tango. Ok, JR made a few mistakes but he did tango all the way through. And they had rubbish music to deal with!

I think that technically the iceburg/Titanic fest was billed as the Widdy/Anton rhumba - although thankfully bore no relation at all to any kind of proper dance

Oh, I quite agree, I burst out laughing at that sudden grin. Don't think sensual is really in Jason's repertoire, he's kind of stuck in inoffensive teenybopper hearthrob role, and looked like he found the whole thing uncomfortable. it may have looked better if Kristina had turned down the sexpotometer to halfway. Like you say there's been far worse.

I love Monkseal's screencaps it worth suffering through this year's SCD just for his blog. Also loving the Claude Nine fior the Tessanine.

I know I could possibly come across as a bit of a DWTS fangirl but amazingly I thought the American version was far more restrained than ours.

And Tristan(♥)'s jive rocked. Not so much the bits that Nancy did though, granted ...

Was it Thankfully, and honestly, I never realised Mind you, if I hated myself enough to watch back any of her dances I doubt I could identify what any of them were meant to be

Just watched the jive - I ♥ Tristan!!

Considering Halloween is more of an American 'thing', they were much more tasteful about the whole thing (well, what I've seen so far anyway - bloomin' Tesco's arrived so I had to stop to stock the cupboards up!)

Cheryl & Rob up next.....

So much more restrained! I was rather surprised! I thought the two Hallowe'en tangos were really good for different reasons. Cheryl has done wonders with Rob, and I loved all the nods to the Addams family with the finger clicks.

JR is just fab. I think his samba is maybe the best on any show, and I love his jive, quickstep and foxtrot too. OK, the tango wasn't his best, but again full of content. Shame about the boiler suit and Karina had possibly the worst outfit ever seen. Considering how they were hampered by music and costume, it was pretty good.

And I think the makeup on Tristan was Almost unrecognisable! That music was way too fast for a jive for someone of Nancy's ability though.

I think that music was too fast for anyone of any ability. They had to use the steadier beat of the bassline to dance too which was too slow for a jive and would have made it sluggish even if she hadn't forgotten the routine. That said, she was carp in this weeks instant jive.

He's feeling ok, autism calmed down thank God. He's just tired and pale and coughing a lot, but it took me weeks to get over mine. Thank you so much for asking hun, that's sweet.

Afternoon DOTs!

Well, we have moved in - my house no longer looks like Lulu's face before the facelifts! We completed the decorating of all the rooms (with the exception of the kitchen which still needs a complete rip out!) and the carpets went down last week - we moved in over the weekend and the children slept here for the first time on Sunday!

The gadget fire is in and my son loves it - probably his favourite thing apart from the huge Bart Simpson wall sticker (which was a b*gger to put up) with his name on it - he thinks we've had it especially made!

My daughter is pleased to finally have a princess bedroom, though it is VERY pink!

We've still got lots to do, including the kitchen and the internal doors, as well as lots of boxes to unpack, but at least I can pay the right amount of attention to ITT and SCD now!

I've tried to keep up - I'm very proud of Chelseepet - thread pet is doing us proud! Pasha is a definite DOT pet for evah! I think we should catch him and put him in a cage!

I'm with Alli on the Greyson front - what a boring, sexless, sexpest faced weirdo tryhard game player! Urrgghhh! He makes me feel unclean just watching him!

OH (well-trained by me) remarked that he looks like Yoda having a w*nk when he pulls those faces!

.....oh, and I was joyful on Sunday when Blulu went out - the neighbours definitely saw the real me when the result was announced!

I'm off to catch up with Monkseal's blogs! See you all in a bit....
