I want to unappreciate the "Woo Holly and Brenda, flow together and look so Happy" thread. I don't get why so many FMs are getting themselves in such a tizz. They danced a sodding rumba. It's about the only dance where there's no real comparative dance, so how can anyone say how well other dances could have been performed if Holly was paired with Brenda? I'm glad he was the temporary stand in, rather than Anton (just imagine) or Vinthenth but Artem is her partner ffs.He did the choreo. He's been medically judged fit to dance this weekend so it's up to him. Grrrrr.

And still the amateur medics pipe up about how Artem should think of the injury and he can't possibly be fit to dance just yet and he should pull out and concentrate on next year, not because they really want to see more of Brenda, oh no no no but because they care deeply about Artem's welfare and he should put his health first, ( I mean well of course he should also think about Holly's chances in the competition and it is true that she looks like an actual profeshonal with Brenda, it's true she does - they are so right together like a mop and bucket) and Artem really should think of himself (and not any of the laydees who are wetting their knickers at the thought of more Cole - no they don't matter at all it's all ARTEM'S HEALTH) and really Artem - please pull out and give us Holly/Brenda because you know it makes sense and we on the board really care about you and deep down you know we're right and are more qualified to judge than an actual doctor or you or anything.

I'll shut up now.

(ps - a) I lied and
b) I quite like Brenda. But he's not Holly's partner, Artem is.)

I like Brenda too, and if Artem does withdraw then it'll be nice for Holly to dance with him. But some of the posts in that thread, jesus wept. If Holly had suddenly got a perfect score it would make some sense. She didn't dance better, she didn't look happier. One of the reasons I quite like her is that she really isn't bothered at all. She could be dancing with anyone and I don't think it'd be that different.

I'm also amazed by this sudden onset of Brenda love. Where did that come from? He's normally just above James in the Strictly Pariah List. Whereas Artem was adored by all. It is one of the most bizarre things I've seen on here! Will someone please think of the sane!

loved that bit.

Part of the iplayers self censorship was a rather odd clip of 1970's Brucie entertaining the crowd at OldWemberleh. Somewhere my adolescent self was jumping up and down and shouting see, see you were right not to find it funny even then.

It looks like think of the injury has become the new think of the children

Well not sure if you refer to me but I am not an amateur , I am no fan of Brendans and still think Artem should stop dithering and make up his mind now or bow out .

Although I do think it may well be the BBC milking this dithering mood and dragging it out and I will unappreciate that .

Though it did make me laugh when Zoe said " get Kara to get you a nice cushion and tuck you up on the sofa " I dont know why but could almost hear Kara say " Get your own bloody cushion "

As a professional dancer I suspect Artem know what his body can do and what its limitations are more than anyone , if he has had the medical all clear I for one think he is right to adopt a wait and see thing , its simple if he is feeling well enough on Friday / Saturday he will dance if not I am sure he will withdraw from the competition.

If people cannot respect his right to wait to make one of the most important choices of his dancing career I am truly mystified.

I like Artem , he has made Holly an OK dancer look better than she would do otherwise , Brendan did a good job last week and still Holly only looked OK, I dont think she will win with either man .

On Saturday a decision will be made and either is OK by me I just want Artem to get better whether by Saturday or not means very little to me.

Unappreciating fact that I've developed headache trying to work out if Arty is fit/unfit, dancing/not dancing, Holly's partner/not partner/whateva.

I still think he developed a psychological bad back so that he didn't have to do the Dance of Bad Sex (or whatever you call it) with Holly and thereby incur Kara's wrath and so avoided having to go and live with Robin again for several days.

Not saying he's faking it (*ducks brickbats*) just it was self-generated. After all, even hypochondriacs get sick sometimes.

Given the survival of the Syria thread, I'm tempted to start a "Eurozone crisis" one on here...

I saw an interactive parka in a catalogue at work today... I requested one for home visits but the request was turned down. I'm gutted - wanted to see what it did that was interactive!

Second day back at work today and only seen one patient!! I think I had a more exciting life at home... Bloody Lulu...

Right people, sit back, make yourself comfortable I'm going to have a rant.

Do you know what I'm really fed up of? Other posters telling me that a discussion is boring or old or has been discussed before that the endless toing and froing needs to stop. Then why the f**k are we on a discussion board? Oh yeah, to discuss things. If you don't like the topic, don't open the thread, if you've heard it all before then move the hell along, don't tell me what I can and can't discuss and whether my contribution to the discussion is valid or that you've heard it all before.

My posts are never valid, I very rarely add something to a discussion, don't care, it's my right to type what I want and bore the arse off you if I want to. Don't like it, put me on ignore, but DO NOT TELL ME THAT I CAN'T DISCUSS SOMETHING BECAUSE IT'S NOT INTERESTING. Jeez, I'd only have had about 200 posts if what I have to say had been interesting.

Thank you for your attention, I feel better now.

Know your place, Alli! The forum police can tell you what to think and where to think it! Heaven's alive, don't you know they are full of life experience with at least two weeks in the 6th form at school and understand the principle of freedom of speech, even though it's not fair and The Wanted might not like it and it will make them cry themselves to sleep at night!

The only important thing in the world to them is them knowing someone said something similar when they were 12 (last week) and so it can't possibly be repeated evah, you jellus hatah!

...and remember, they probably weren't born when you joined DS!
