I really felt sorry for him this week, no he isnt a great singer, but he has been hyped sky high by the show and then when he isnt of any use to them he is bumped out. He was always honest about why he wanted to be there, he wasnt pretending to be something he wasnt. And I think a lot of his bravado was just a young boy trying to act big.
If he had broken some 'golden rule' you think the show would say why to justify throwing him out as they are now having to refund people who voted for him.”

100% agree with this.

Barlow put him through to ride on the bad boy/rough diamond image. When it became apparent that he wasn't up to standard in the singing department the cracks began to show.

Frankie went out and partied because his own mentor said the last thing he wanted him to do was behave. He was delivering the goods as required. What Gary didn't account for though, was that for some reason the public didn't warm to this image of a cheeky chappy in it for the larfs.

When the booing at the live shows started Frankie's number was up. To have a second contestant ask to leave would have been embarrasing and so I think this whole thing has been manufactured. Frankie gets his out and the show appears to be squeaky clean despite encouraging his behaviour in the first place.

If Frankie jumped he is more stupid than I thought, would you agree to jump taking with you the smear of drug abuse, as someone has pointed out this could involve the police wanting to investigate, it is illegal to take class A drugs, getting a future job could prove impossible with this type of smear on your name.

I think the show would have taken legal advise as well, as they have a duty of care to the contestants, and they failed to give that care to a young lad, they even drove him to venues to get drunk in, how responsible is that. They knew he had problems in the past, so they should have been even more wary of what was going on, instead of which they appear and Gary Barlow is included in this to actually promote his bad lad ways, appalling behaviour from Frankie and disgusting behaviour from the show itself.

They also have M&S who I am sure are really peed off to find their name linked with drug taking, or boasting about taking.

He may have been unhappy with how the show was panning out but I cannot for the life of me believe he would agree to this and walk if it is not true what on earth would he have to gain from that?

Tbh, I saw all his self-pitying as a last resort to get some sympathy votes..

When they showed his VT before the results, you know the one where they walk along a corridor, he said he wanted to leave. I can't remember the exact words but I got the impression he'd had enough and was hoping to be voted off. Perhaps he knew he was already in trouble and hoped the great British public would send him packing, before he had to be sent home by the producers.
