For him to have been off his face on coke while performing, he'd have needed to have a line within about 20 minutes of going on stage. The main kick of cocaine wears off very quickly.

Some people don't want to hear the truth though, it would have been very difficult for him to do a line before going on stage I have no idea what it is like backstage but no doubt it would be very busy.
