According to their website, it will not wash with the voters when The Risk polled the lowest votes of all contestants.

If it dos happen, its makes a mockery of a mockery

The Risk were bottom of the list last week, so I doubt it, as Johnny was 2nd last and it was a double elimination (god knows why) then it should be Johnny to come back in, had it been a single elimination The Risk would of still possibly gone if it went to deadlock.

That is why the public will not buy it should the show bring them back.

well - do consider that Johnny may " refuse" the offer to come back for "personal reasons" and therefore the risk come back for a week- or 2 if they can somehow see off kitty.

If they bring back The Risk or Johnny they'll probably have to refund all money spent on last week's elimination - I doubt ITV will want to do that even Syco do!

I thin kit would almost be impossible to bring back any act that polled the lowest results, even for 1 week.

It will either be, Johnny, The Risk or no one.

No, they won't. People don't vote to eliminate acts on TXF; they vote to save. So, nobody can argue that they've wasted money voting out Johnny or The Risk.

Interesting if that happens, it will add to the conspiracy theory that they wanted Frankie out, it did not happen so they booted him out to get the Risk back in...

Johnny may refuse to come back anyway.

I do hope not.

The Risk have the collected personality of a cabbage.

Very valid point Anactoria.. they would have something to fall back on because like you said its vote to save and people did not vote to kick out The Risk or Johnny...i think if anyting they should be worried about the people who have voted to keep Frankie in the competition (whoever they are!!)...

Yes, the ones who voted to keep Frankie would have the best case for refunds. However, in order to get their money back, they'd have to admit to voting for Frankie.

They would also have torealise that THEY picked up the phone voluntarily.

I doubt anyone will come back. I can see them wanting The Risk back but how would they justify it?.

Knowing this lot they will find a way, The Risk have already been given extra chances from day one when they were "mirraculously" formed, lost a member and gained another from a group allready out of the show.

I will say it again, I think it is more about Derry and Tullisa than anything else...........

But people spent money on saving their favourite(s).

If voters knew the acts at the bottom may return next week, would they have voted for their favourite(s)? What would be the point? You're not really saving them, they'll be back next week...

The Daily Fail have really failed this time.

If anyone comes back it should be Johnny as he wasn't bottom of the 3. How would it be fair on Johnny at all?

The Risk have as much right to be there in a way, If Frankie had of gone last week it would have been a normal bottom2 on sat and they could have had the opportunity to sing for survival like everybody else... they would have stayed up against johnny and possibly Kitty. Johnny was voted off by every judge..although I would have liked him to have stayed. Have a weird feeling Johnny would decline to come back, for some reason, I think he left in a good way and to go back after your mentor voted you off could be weird. I dont know what they're going to do but I think they will do some sort of twist...why miss an opportunity for more headlines

dont think it'll be The Risk either...looking at their twitter they all say they dont see it happening, Charlie has gone out tonight which I would doubt he'd be doing if he needed to be up early for rehersals but you never know.

Except that nobody knew this was going to happen, not even the producers. If this were something that happened every week, you might have a point (although that would make people who continued to vote look pretty dumb). But since it's a one-time occurrence, & since it happened in the wake of a double elimination (so either way, at least one act did leave the competition permanently), nobody really has a case for a refund except the Frankie voters.

They don't need anyone to come back.

Instead of having 3 on the final night they could just have 2

The point still stands that many wouldn't have voted if an act is just going to re-enter the competition - it doesn't matter that nobody knew this was going to happen.

It's completely unfair on the people who pick up the phone to save their favourite, succeed, and then the producers say, "well, actually your vote didn't count because X is coming back."

If they really want an act back, they should offer a refund to everyone who voted at the weekend.

Personally, I don't believe they're foolish enough to bring an act back (whether they offer refunds or not, I still think it's foolish). The reaction to Big Brother bringing an housemate back should keep them well away from this idea but we'll soon find out...

It's not just the final night, though; it's the final weekend. A two-person final over the course of two nights would be kind of ridiculous.

But their votes did count, because (assuming Johnny is the one who returns) they kept their chosen act from being the bottom-placed act and therefore being eliminated. It's not unfair on anyone aside from Frankie fans; people voted so that they could see their favourite act again, and (unless they voted for Frankie or The Risk), they'll presumably get to do so.

Besides, what else should the producers do? A two-person final weekend would be ridiculous and would lose them revenue/ratings; so too would an elimination-free show this weekend. Bringing an act back is the only logical solution.

I remember when that shrill creature in Big Brother was brought back (I forget her name so please don't remind me) and there was uproar.
