The point still stands that many wouldn't have voted if an act is just going to re-enter the competition - it doesn't matter that nobody knew this was going to happen.
It's completely unfair on the people who pick up the phone to save their favourite, succeed, and then the producers say, "well, actually your vote didn't count because X is coming back."
If they really want an act back, they should offer a refund to everyone who voted at the weekend.
Personally, I don't believe they're foolish enough to bring an act back (whether they offer refunds or not, I still think it's foolish). The reaction to Big Brother bringing an housemate back should keep them well away from this idea but we'll soon find out...
