Well according to our vet Pixie at 18kg is double the weight she should be.

I think she should be between 11 and 15kg

A new approach to the food giving has to be addressed.


I'm trying my best with the grub but Himself is awful. He just thinks that a bacon and egg sarnie doesn't count.

Is Pixie a dog or a cat?

"between 11kg and 15kg" is quite a range, especially if the vet thinks she should be 9kg. If the vet is right then even 11kg is very overweight.

If you can't feel her ribs fairly easily she is fat.
