Did anyone else lose the sound on ITV HD last night about halfway through The Jury? All other channels HD and SD including ITV 103 were fine.

Has also been reported on AVForums - apparently only ITV1 HD Granada affected

Sky-HD users with ITV1-HD Granada also affected. You wouldn't pay ITV with washers would you

Flipping annoying! We had to switch subtitles on and follow it that way, after unplugging, plugging and poking everything!

No problems with The Jury on ITV1HD for me on any night this week. I'm in NG16 area, so assume it's Granada. Using Humax HDR.

Most likely the London ITV-HD 1440 x 1920 service. ITV have acknowledged technical problems with the Granada version. If I use my own West Midlands postcode I get ITV1-HD London.I use a Mancester postcode to get the FULL-HD Granada service

When viewing ITV1-HD press opt+. If it says 10832 H then it's the London region.

Yes, it's 10832 H so it must be the London version. Perhaps that explains why I've never thought that ITV1 HD was that good, picture-wise.

What Manchester postcode do you use then, Graham?

If I use a Manchester postcode, won't I lose my BBC ONE East Mids on channel 101?

Manchester Town Hall MA2 4JA

Customise channels will put any BBC 1 Region you fancy at 101 (and BBC2 at 102)

Humax HDR said this postcode was invalid, so I used a Leeds one instead (Jimmy's).

PQ on Ch. 119 is now noticeably improved.

I've changed Ch. 101 back to E. Mids, but is it possible to change Ch. 103 from ITV1 Yorkshire to ITV1 Midlands?

Nope ITV want you to watch your regional ads (the wrong ones in this case ).

That's OK then, I never watch ads anyway - isn't that the main reason for having a PVR in the first place?
