I've been watching Strictly since the beginning and thought I'd grasped the concept of the Latin & Ballroom dances.

However, the last few years, the choreography has been extremely creative and sometimes borders on contemporary dancing rather than traditional ballroom.

I much prefer the creativity and "storytelling" that has featured more heavily in recent years and certainly adds more emotion to the dance.

What does everyone else think?

Oh yes, almost forgot, my favourite Pro Choreographer is Artem - his interpretations & imagination seemingly hold no bounds and is extremely exciting to watch.

I'm also impressed with what i've seen of Pasha so far.

Artem for me, he's streets ahead of the others for me. But I also enjoy Natalie and Pasha's routines.

He's calmed Chelsee down a lot and turned her into a lovely, little dancer.

I overlooked him as he's new this season but so far he is doing a very good job.

Natalie slightly edges it, because she's shown that she can choreograph for a poor celeb, whereas Artem hasn't had to yet (which isn't his fault, of course).

Over the long haul I am going to say Erin who has managed to get some real duffers quite a long way!

Her ballroom is stronger than her latin but she has done some fab routines.

Currently Artem is my fave but Bobby, Natalie and Ola are all good at doing routines with content and that suit and showcase their celebs.

Pasha is really impressing me but its his first series so I can't nominate him much as it pains me!!

Artem and Natalie - very different but both excellent in their own style.

For the females: Flavia, Natalie, Kristina and for the guys the Russians(Pasha and Artem), and Vincent.

The Russian males are doing well this year.

The fact that they're gorgeous, of course, helps their cause enormously!!

I know absolutely nothing about dancing but surely Artem is both the best choreographer and most exquisite dancer on Strictly?

Word. I took a while to warm to her as a person (think she's great now) but I've always admired her ability to choreograph classic routines with plenty of content which makes the most of her celeb partner's strengths while masking their weaknesses. (Masking them relatively, anyway. Girl's not superman.)

But yes I would be so interested to see him work with a very average ability celebrity - not because he 'couldn't' - just to see how he adapts for more limitations.

I think Holly is of average ability to be honest. She's not as good as Artem has made her look, but he definitely hasn't had a duffer yet.
