Kristina and Artem - and Pasha seems very good too.

You're not the only one - I've re-watched so many of her dances with Scott and Ricky so many times!

I think she is definitely the best ballroom choreographer on the show.

Kristina: routines full of content – love the details she adds.

Artem: makes an average dancer look better than she actually is – what Strictly’s all about.

Artem and Pasha. Easily. Far more imagination - but then their training in comparison to the others has far more depth because both of them have done more than just ballroom.

Makes a huge difference. Natalie is also brilliant. How could I forget her

Artem and Natalie. She went a long way with some real duffers in the Aussie series. We need to see how Artem copes with a Widdie. So far he's had two good dancers.

I think every pro on the show is a fantastic choreographer tbh and I could choose a WOW routine for every pro.

I've been in and out of this thread several times and sat here now for ages and as far as showcasing their celeb goes, I just can't choose out of the current pros because they are all so good.

I would though single out Artem and Aliona as still untested as far less able celebs go. Aliona was not great with Rav, but it was her first year and she deserves another try. I LOVE Artem's choreography, but I've not been too impressed with Artem's approach with Holly this year tbh. I think he is making their routines unnecessarily hard and I not sure if he can be adaptable enough for SCD, which is why I want to see him with a less able celeb before deciding.

My all time favourites are Matt C, Ian and Karen, but as time goes by that will no doubt change.

For me it has to be Artem, I can't wait to see what he comes up with next. Although I also think Kristina and Pasha are brill - oh those Russians.....

The worst for me are Anton and Aliona, tho I think they are both lovely people, their routines bore me a little.

For the first time Kristina is progressing in the competition and we are getting to see what a good choreographer she is. I think praise also has to go to Pasha for challenging Chelsee with complex and content-heavy routines. Credit also to Flavia for cleverly combining Russell's comedic value with some decent and classic content.

Too many of the professionals try to hide their partner's flaws by dancing around them, using props or including time wasting sections. They know who they are.

Aliona I love for her show dances & modern twists (Samba with Matt Cutler was amazing!) but she's just not putting in enough dance content to appraise her celebs ability, we see the show, but not the dance with her celebs.

Although I plumped for Artem & Kristina which I am sticking with I also want to add Natalie....her jive with Scott was truly inspired.

Aliona..she is the future. Like many great artists, she is not appreciated in her own time..but in years to come, she will be immortalised as the most significant choreographer of the 21st century.

There are several contenders (not in particular order):

Natalie & Artem we have a couple of series to see they always choreograph for the celebs yet remained quite creative.

New, but this series I think Kristina and Pasha both look very promising. Kristina so far hasn't put a foot wrong this series (not impressed with her in the past series), and Pasha made excellent use of all the props while still keeping to the traditional spirit of SCD of past series (i.e. full of technical content. Both also seem to be able to choreograph to bring out the best in their partners.

If I may add a post - Artem , Robin and Pasha have Burn the Floor behind them so you can see where their artistic and hot routines come from. Artem is an amazing and very creative choeorgrapher.

Artem. There isn't a single routine of his that I haven't liked and quite a few that have blown me away. And he is a good dancer himself. Robin and Pasha are creative but in my opinion, aren't as good dancers.

Oh, and I think Natalie is good too!

this is an interesting question. i notice that professionals often choreograph at different levels with different celebreties, for example ola choreographed fabulously for chris the year they won; however it's not the same standard for robbie

personally the best choreographers can produce excellent choreo no matter who their celeb is, particularly when their routines are full of content. artem and aliona are certainly creative choreogrophers, but i'm not much of a fan of either of them...

(My drinking game on a Saturday is based on having a drink every time I spot a move that another pro has lifted from Artem's work last year - though I'm aware Artem didn't necessarily 'invent' them all - and between the Jordans and Robin, I do quite well )

I think Natalie's the best choreographer. I'm not including Artem because he hasn't yet been tested with a bad celeb to see if he can be clever with choreography as well as creative.

Ola, Flavia and James are all very clever choreographers, and I think Kristina often does a great job as well.

I enjoy many of the routines Aliona produces, but the year she had a less talented partner it wasn't great.
