We've all heard her sing several times before: If we're not fans now, I don't see what Saturday can do. She was actually quite good but with Kitty already in there, do we need another belting tribute act?

I get the comparison, but Amelia is what KaraokeKitty wishes she could have been, tried to be,and failed to be.

Unlike Kitty,Amelia is doing the contrived thing out of inexperince, where the CopyKitty uses contrivance and copycat skill to try to compensate for lack of talent. Amelia shows signs of originality. Also,Amelia has a good voice and has sung well sometimes, where Kitty is consistently average with a side of shouty.

Sure, and I'd much prefer Amelia to Kitty but during the bootcamp period, I was confusing the two of them and couldn't remember which one sang which song. Admittedly I wasn't glued to the screen. I was more half watching and listening. I still thing they'll get in each other's way / fish in the same small pool. Whoever comes back - and Amelia is clearly the best of the four - will, regardless be on a hiding to nothing as the voting public will resent it all, a lot. I can actually see Amelia serving the public good by not only going out as quickly as she returned but by taking Kitty with her, having eaten into her already desperately thin vote.

It will be interesting to see who actually joins this week and who actually goes, if the one who comes back is the one who leaves what the hell was the point...

I have some info I can't share, but I can say you're very astute,Rupert. It's no coincidence the joke/novelty acts who aren't that good (Kitty/Frankie/Etc) tend to be gone by top 4/5...one way or another.

With respect that is the most stupidest comment I have ever heard, how can you say Kitty is a novelty act? She can sing unlike Amelia who was out of her depth hence Kelly sending her home, let's hope the public have sense not to vote her back in she was overrated!

Oh no, you're not gonna tell us it's all fixed are you Singy? I couldn't take it

Seriously, I gave up getting frustrated by what I thought was the unfair treatment of both contestants and voting public ages ago and actually quite enjoy the machiavellian stuff. The contestants know the score. They've sold themselves to the devil and will get a smidgeon of fame and a few bob for their troubles. The TV audience go through the emotions, spend money voting and watch week after week, enthralled by the entirely predictable. Cowell makes millions. It's smart stuff. It's a great show!

With all due respect,TooClose,my comment is far from stupid, and is based on a lot of career based experience and knowledge about music, singing, and the industry.

Amelia shows potential to be quite good and some originality once she gets a few more years developing as an artist and some confidence behind her, whereas Karaoke Kitty is nothing but another karaoke singer with tribute act skills and a desperate desire to be something she's not, which is talnted with a good voice.

Rupert-Lol,nope,it's not all "fixed"...but it's definitely,um..."guided". (I know,you're sooo shocked! )

To Base it on comments said is abit of being spoilt yourselfs as im sure everyone has said stuff they probable regret in the heat of the moment if found youself in some sort of similiar situation as amelia

The simple fact is 1 has to come back and that should be the best singer and imo the best singer is Amelia.

I don't hate Amelia. But I think bringing her (or any of the other three) back at this stage is not fair and ridiculous. Also there's a lot of annoying Amelia fans who have been going on aboout her since she left. So I think the hate is for them and the twist, not so much Amelia herself.

Lloyd for one. I wasn't a fan of him. But considering the hate he had to put up with from both the judges and public just for making it through each week I was impressed by how he handled everything very mature for 16 years old.

Personally I thought that Sophie's version of Teenage Dream was better than Amelia's Billie Jean.

I never judge contestants by things that their parents have done in their past. But if Shayne's father had kept going to the press like Amelia's have and bad mouthing the show and behaving like a pushy parent. Yes I would have had a problem with him. (His Father not Shayne himself).

I just assumed he was too thick to understand what was going on.

Same here. She gives me the "I think I'm too good for this" vibe and it's not as if her singing is that wonderful. She was so awful in the first live show.

Thanks for taking time out of your hectic jet-setting business schedule to post repeatedly about how much you don't like Kitty.

One day I hope to work in the music industry, with its many and varied opportunities to hang around online forums and bitch about an act on a talent show. That'd be my dream job.

What's with the Amelia adulation? That's something I just can't understand. Kelly made one correct decision in the live shows and that was sending 'Pinky without the brain' home. I thought Amelia would be done for homicide she butchered that first live song of hers so much.

I don't 'hate' her but I do dislike the fact that when she got kicked off she slated the show and everything about it even saying that she was glad she had gone out as she didn't want to be 'manufactured' anyway, and now all of a sudden she's begging to be voted back in!

People are more angry at the thought of any of those four coming in half way through. Totally unfair on the remaining conestants.

Also that girl was mouthing off that she doesn't need X Factor. Very conceited tart

Amelia was a pain in the butt for Frankie, alway's hanging around and not even worthy of a tatoo. If even Frankie don't want her, why should the public vote her back?

We don't need another Frankie, she is a bit of a rebel by all accounts!

So "they" has become one. How does a lad who could barely even sing, yet who hung around until a fortnight before the final, even begin to compare with a clear favourite who was ousted without the audience even getting a say on the very first live show? He was incredibly lucky to get as far as he did, and therefore had absolutely nothing whatsoever to be at all bitter about.

And it was. On every count bar vocal performance.

But that's exactly what you're doing right now. Her parents have nothing to do with it, because they're not part of the competition.

Some of the angry haters are Sophie fanatics who are now wishing it was Sophie who had been eliminated in week one and getting this chance.

Some are James michael fans who are angry that James may not get to return.

Some have current favourites right now in the show especially Lil Mix and kitty and are threatened and afraid that they may be outclassed by Amelia, for whatever reason I don't know.

I also think it's unfair them bringing anyone back...this isn't against Amelia obviously, but she's been sitting at home for the past 5 weeks while the other acts have been working hard, and now she's going to be given a free pass. I don't hate her, but I think she's a hypocrite and I don't support her return.”

All four of them James, including Jonjo, 2shoes and angelic James are reported to have slagged of the show.......

have you considered that many people are just astonished by her hypocritical behaviour? hate is a strong word and i certainly don't feel that towards her. however, i cant say i am best pleased about her possible return. why? she wanted to distance herself from the show after she left and i would have had more respect for her if she stood by her original stance.
