Get someone like that with The Voice on the Beeb here, safe to say X Factor will be trounced in terms of 'credibility'.

How far did she get?

Misha take notes. That is how you sing a song.

Misha-please DON'T take notes, unless using the clip in this thread as a demo of what not to do.This woman shouts outside her singable range and is off pitch- a lot -in both upper and lower register.

She has an okay voice, with good solid range and power, but not very good control of it.

What are you on about? - 0:34, nothing wrong with her low register, I thought it was a very tight performance and a lot better than anything Misha could put out

I never said there was anything wrong with her lower or upper register. What I said was that she needs to work on her pitch. She is off in quite a few places throughout the song, and forces to the point of shouting when she goes for her top noted.

Misha did the same in a couple of her earlier performances. It is entirely possible this woman doesn't do this every time she sings, but here, she was off and forced in places.

I can hear that she has the kind of voice that could really soar, though.

I prefer Misha,though.

It actually sounded to me like she was forcing her voice to maximum safe output because she was wanting to show off her belt range(and I don't blame her,she has a voice that can),but,in doing so,she compromised agility in places, which made her fall off the pitch and melody a bit.I just wanted to add that, becasue, while I found this performance a bit messy, and prefer Misha's tone,Sarina does have a potentially(and maybe already there when not pushing every note) rich and very impressive belt range, and I bet with the right song and calmed down, like Misha(but in a different way,as she has the range to sing "bigger" songs and Misha is more about strong tone and delivery),she could deliver a great performance. If I was a judge,I'd have picked her ,too.

Sarina's first audition was amazing, but after that she never got to that level again. I wasn't surprised at all when she got voted off pretty early in the competition. Have you guys seen the audition from the Dutch winner of this show, Ben Saunders? He's amazing!

Couldn't agree more. This was so shrieky. Plus: yeah, I know she's Dutch, but her diction was absolutely awful. I couldn't tell a word she was singing.

Sorry, OP, but if an act identical to this one auditioned on The Voice, I'd say X Factor was pretty safe.

Of course, BBC talent shows have a much lower standard, anyway. So she'd probably still get through.

Why can't people just praise this girl without feeling the need to slag off Misha? It's petty.
