An unarmed man is seen bizarrely spinning while swinging the black cat at arms length - nearly smashing its head on the pavement.

Passers-by seem to confront the man, as he whirls past the Camden Arms pub in Ramsgate, Kent, at around 8.30am on Saturday, October 26.

Near miss: During the savage attack the cat's head nearly smashed against the pavement. The animal, named Mowgli, was left in a 'very distressed state' and has not left the flat since.

If you know him shop him if you use other sites post the link there. The more people who see what the isck individual has done to the poor cat, the more chance he will be identified.

Thanks.

I am delighted to say he is all over the newspapers, the media and the internet.

So to the cat swinger: Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.

Well said and right behind you. I'd do some serious jail time if anything of the sort happened like that. I once saw a stupid 14yr old bo hose down a cat in a cage, sorry my anger got the better of me cause i pushed him violently aside and took the cat away from him and gave the little cat a home with my friend. Whats wrong with nutheads like this

They obviously hate cats, like me, but are unable to see that it is wrong to hurt an animal. Cruelty to animals can be a prelude to violance against humans.

I've seen the footage a few times today and it is really upsetting. I have two cats and would be absolutely devastated if anyone did this to them. He should get jail time, but he probably won't. He'll probably get community service.

It makes me so angry.

I saw this on the main page as well, what is it with people and hurting animals

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...a-Exmouth.html

The guy with the cat is just dispicable, why oh why do people think its fun and ok to pick on and abuse animals and people that cannot defend themselves.

I am very very anti capital punishment but if anyone ever deliberately harmed one of my two cats I dont think I would be able to control myself.

I hope he gets hunted down soon. Glad though the cat survived but he wouldn't last a second if i knew who he was. I'd torch his ass.

Mowgli ia a really sweet, friendly cat and well-known among the locals. Or at least he was. I don't know how sweet and friendly he's going to be with strangers after this experience.

Gold help me if I recognised the @r$e in the footage.

I've just seen little Mowgli on the 6 o'clock news - poor, sweet baby.

It makes me feel murderous.

If he's caught the law will do eff all.

Let's just hope some locals know who he is and have a "word" with him, so to speak.

I saw that on the news last night(the cat was sat there watcing it as well, I had just taken her to the vets so I was being given the silent treatment but when the cat came on she actually walked towards the tv and looked interested) and said that I hope he gets swung round by a leg see how he likes it. my partners said no by his balls that would hurt more. I think it's disgusting, so are the couple with the dog (why have a pet if you are just going to be cruel to it).

Aw, please don't feel too murderous. I would hate for a baby or a child to be at the tail end of your wrath.

If I knew him I wouldn't let on, I don't want a guy ripped apart by rabid Dailymail reading cat-lovers on my conscience.

I on the other hand would have no qualms about revealing his identity etc since my view is such indivduals deserve everything they get. It's interesting to see you think his safety is of any importance.

How would people feel if someone found out who this disgusting scroat is and set off his Rottweiller in the middle of the street to significantly maul him?

Just interested...

Can't say I'd be bothered about his welfare.

Your an idoit.

Update if anyone has heard, apparently the RSPCA tracked him down but by time they got there he fled to grandmothers house. Seems the RSPCA are doing the job at the minute, lets hope they continue to do so.
