He'll be caught eventually. He's been spalshed across the papers, he can't run. I just wish i was hunting him with a rake, sure many would follow suit.

I on the other hand would have no qualms about revealing his identity etc since my view is such indivduals deserve everything they get. It's interesting to see you think his safety is of any importance.
I find your attitude shocking quite frankly. Here is me thinking that western society had moved on from mob mentality.
If you honestly think that he deserves to be harmed, or possibly killed, then you are more of a violent crazy than he is!

I see you don't believe in rational response then.

I assure you I am not and frankly for you to suggest that is "shocking". I simply don't care about his welfare and yes I do think he deserves to be harmed. Think what you like of me, I couldn't care less. I only know I don't go around harming the defenceless, but those who DO, don't deserve any sympathy or shielding.

mad! lol ok.
If a gang of thugs came to your door and asked you "hey, where is the cat swinger? we are going to torture and kill him"
you would tell them where he was?

Not to sound rude but what the f**k are you talking about!?!?
Err exactly how is it not the owners fault?
Why were they letting their pet roam around the streets?

It's all to easy to have an initial responce of go and give him a right slap. But in this day and age 2 wrongs simply dont make a right. Nar, let the press id and expose him, lets see him on the front of the papers and appear on the morning tv news programs etc. Let him get took to court and fined, be pointed at and whispered about in the street for weeks. Then send him to do some community service in a cats home for a month or 2. He might, just might learn his lesson by then.

Apparently said Knob Jocky has handed himself in...
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukne...to-police.html
Of course, this doesn't mean he'll be punished or even charged let's wait and see.
I suppose if the normal methods of punishment fail we can always round up the odd pitchfork carrier or two

Glowbot, I honestly think you like being contrary and enjoy an argument for the sake of it.

I dont' think anyone would seriously condone a lynchmob out for this guy, what people say and what they do are two different things, anger makes people say things they wouldn't normally dream of doing.

On the other hand the fact that you coolly blame the owner and your other comments about cats in other threads speaks volumes for you.

I didn't blame the owner that was another poster.

I do mean what I say, and would love to hear from Ella Nut to see if she does too! (are you saying she doesn't?) you are right, anger makes people irrational, that is how mobs start.

It isn't an argument, it's a conversation and if it were, my argument would be the peaceful side.

So because a pet goes outside thats the green light for a thug to attack it ?

Do you operate the same values with people as well ? if a small kid went outside to play and was beaten up would that be the parents fault or the person who did it ? Or is it just animals ?

I take it no one is *actually* interested in the fact that the alleged perpetrator is currently in the company of several of Kent's finest then ?

Cat's should be kepy at home/in the garden.

I wonder if its because he knows how wrong he was and feels remorse or if he was more scared of public reaction to him ?

I would like to think the former but these days one is drawn to the latter.

My cats are indodor cats in a large property with access to a walled courtyard ( they are indoor because its a city and next to a very busy road ) , however many cats are not , how does them walking around justify or excuse someone abusing them ?

I don't suppose it matters really as long as justice is done but I'd go with option B

Did I say ANYWHERE that this man deserved to be killed? Stop being so over-dramatic. I said he deserved what he got - although I genuinely don't care about his safety, I admit that.

yes you did allude to it. "anything they got" could include murder, it's a risk if a mob sets out to harm someone that the victim will die. Could you live with that risk?

but you didn't answer my question as to whether you would tell the mob where he was...

Allude to what you like, but the likelyhood of anyone being murdered is so remote as to be nonsensical but you carry on being as dramatic as you like.

Do excuse me, okay, if someone said "did you see where that cat torturer went?" I would say "Yep, round the corner, the one oh-so-bravely running away to try and hide in his grandmother's house."

Have you finished with your interrogation? I do hope so. Let me say for the final time, I don't CARE what happens to people who torture the defenceless for "fun" and "kicks". Okay?

lol 'interrogation'? I was only asking what your standpoint was.
so if he got killed, and you had told them where he was, you wouldn't care. Got it!
very humane.
