lol 'interrogation'? I was only asking what your standpoint was.
so if he got killed, and you had told them where he was, you wouldn't care. Got it!
very humane.
I. wouldn't. care. One less scumbag in the world is always a good thing.

there are some sick scum bags around - I know one of my cats is very trusting of strangers and it would sicken me to think that some one might abuse that trust to hurt him.

What makes this worse is that my cat Suschi probs died because someone 'beat' her, although i'm not 100% sure. To think of someone doing this to someone else's cat is simply unbelieveable and shocking. I have ALWAYS hated those who hurt animals for some sick and twisted pleasure, now seeing this video and knowing what happened to my cat...i wish i could torch everyone who thinks it's cool to hurt defenceless animals. Gosh i hate people like that

I personally think thank god he had the sense to hand himself in, and I would have had no worries at all about shopping him to the police if I knew who he was. I shared it all over my facebook, as did all my local RSPCA pages, including the lovely one where I volunteer at, and on Thursday is was a huge topic of conversation, with everyone saying how they would like to punish the idiot.

Anyone how loves animals would never, ever condone this behaviour, and would all like to see the thug swung around in the air in the same way as he swung that poor defenseless cat. Made my blood boil looking at it, and I would have happily smacked him one if I had of got hold of him, and as for the comment about the cat's owner being at fault for what happened. Goodness me, it is a cat and cats go outside. Not the cats fault or its owners that some sadisdic thug thought it funny to torture him.

To be perfectly honest I wouldn't care at all what happened to the thug. After seeing what he did to the cat I wouldn't even give him a seconds thought. As soon as he picked up the cat I felt nothing but hatred for him.

I truly hope that Mowlgi can come through this and learn to trust humans again. Bless his little heart.

one of my cats Milley, all over the summer was off her food an very lethargic she would at night either sit in another room on the windowsill or hide behind the telly. After weeks of tests the vets came to the decision she might have pancarites, apparantly this can be caused from some thing stressfull happening and I did wonder if some one had kicked her. Although not 100% she's much better now but it is some thing I always worry about when letting both my cats outthat some scum bag will hurt them.

What's going to happen to him? Probably f***ing nothing, a verbal warning

If this was done to my cat i would not want the police to find him, i would want to find him myself and give him the REAL punishment he deserves!

In my area there is a serial cat killer that has been going round killing cats with a pellet gun, i think he has killed 6 cats fo far and still hasn't been caught. If his face is ever posted in the papers i will be "hunting" him down.

If I knew him I wouldn't let on, I don't want a guy ripped apart by rabid Dailymail reading cat-lovers on my conscience.
Would you feel the same if he was caught swinging a baby round by its leg...or arm...or neck?!

Just a thought...

because of the BIB
I would judge the situation, obviously. Most likely just call the police or yell from a distance.
If I got injured because of it I wouldn't feel like it was acceptable risk.

If I got hurt rescuing a baby, then I'd be fine with that.

So saving an abused animal isn't an acceptable risk?!

You sound like a nice person.

Of course you wouldn't risk a humans well being to "save" an animal. They are ONLY animals, It does not mean that some other form of action should be taken.

Why "of course"?!

I would...if they were blatantly ABUSING the animal. They have no regard for the animal, why so I care about them?

If I saw a teenage chav swinging a cat around like that I wouldn't think twice about kicking the shit out of him. You say its only an animal, but its a beloved member of someones family.

It's not about them... it's about yourself, do you understand that?
Neither would I jump into an ice lake to save a dog.

Now I love my PETS and I certainly don't condone cruelty to any animal but are you really comparing the welfare of an animal to that of a human being?
I *might* risk my health to save an animal but I *would* risk my health to save a baby.
NB this is not the same as taking no action.
People trump pets, the fact that you need this pointing out is a bit disturbing to me TBH

I was picking up on the fact you said you wouldn't tell people were the abuser was, if you knew, as you wanted to protect him. Who was there to protect the cat? No one because everyone just walked on by for a quiet life.

Do you understand that?

Now you're just being silly. You're trying to start a totally different argument.

I'm afraid that you most certainly do... your complete lack of a sense of proportion.
