Ooooh an urgent X Factor press conference has suddenly been called for 1pm today - all judges attending. What can it be??

Isn't that when they will announce the phone numbers for the votes for the act coming back, sounds sensible to me.

The whole thing has been cancelled. XF USA will be shown in it's place.

Lord Wagner will materialise in the room, declare himself eternal winner of the program, and all will rejoice.

Its just a formal announcement of voting lines being opened and the numbers and why they decided to opt for the 4 original rejects

Out of the 4? Err...they all have 1 contestant each, I think I can predict how they'd vote.

Great idea. I think the judges and producers should be able to exercise a bit more power in determining who should ultimately win. This whole public vote thing is very generous of them and all that but what do the public really know about music.

OR it could be the press are about to reveal the real truth behind all this, that Frankie was paid to walk, with no drugs ever being talked about or taken....all in order for the show to get back Amelia....

It'll be a pow-wow to sort out the scripts, tell them what they've NOT to say, drum up some enthusiasm, and generally get the judges to beef things up so that they can convince (or should that be CON) the British viewing public to part with even more money.

I doubt it. Even if you were paid would you let your name be associated with drugs, would you apologise publically for nothing?

I think if the show wanted Amelia, they would have kept her in on week 1. But they didn't. They got rid of her. Now they have to replace Frankie and the fairest way to do that is via a public vote.

Have they stated yet that this is ONLY A PUBLIC vote.. or are we in for yet another con job.. ie we or some of us vote, as many will not buy into this crap..

Then they find out who we voted for and hell it aint the ONE... so they pull another scam on us, they say now we have the two with the highest vote who will be in a sing off for the judges to choose .... never say never...

These are all the people we thought weren't good enough in week 1, we'd be eternally grateful if you could vote them back in 'cos they're brilliant really.

All the appeals will be a farce, what can they say.

'This is the act I didnt think was as good as the ones you already voted out, vote for them!'

If X Factor had any intergrity left, they would make this a free vote over Twitter or something, or via some secure internet poll which cannot be hacked or rigged in any way.

...or 100% of the voting money going to Cancer Research, and whatever money they raise from the votes will be matched by Simon Cowell.

To be fair, Goldie dropped out before the show actually started, they had to put someone in, replacing one no hoper at judges house with another is neither here nor there.

This is getting someone in at the halfway stage, giving them a guaranteed place on the tour (and the payday that goes with it) and a shot at the final whilst not having to suffer the horrors of rock week, halloween week and numerous public votes, all because they were chasing headlines by including some charmless ingrate who couldnt wait the couple of weeks until he got voted off to snort his way through the gross national product of columbia.

And asking people to pay for the privilege , just to top it all off.

It has as much in common with Sami coming in as a box of frogs.
