James Michael- why he needs to return
I think James has great potential that was never truly explored. He deserves another chance more than any of the others.

I agree but my only concern is I don't want Barlow being rewarded for his farcial behavoiur.
He should never have chosen Teacosey over him in the first place.
Visually, he is stunning. Absolutely marketable. I love his voice and his intimate, understated style.

I said this on another post and was accused of being shallow but he is just the most amazing looking guy, he even stands out a mile in the M&S ad. More power to him, I hope he goes far regardless of X Factor.

That story was a load of rubbish invented by the Sun. Amelia denied it - they just had a few photos and tried to make something up.

Well he has my vote, and was my fav from day one, so him back would be great. Sadly he was never given the air time that Frankie was given, was given a dire song to sing, and sat at the back of the stage looking very insignificant.
Lovely voice, one you will know on the radio, have listened to some you tubes people put on my thread regarding Vote for James they are really good, maybe someone can add them in here as well... Amelia has enough threads on here so why not another one for James, and yes he does stand out in the Ad and for all the right reasons not the wrong ones.

Well of course she'd frickin' deny it. She was like a fly on sh!te when Frankie was around. There's plenty of evidence to say she'd been meeting up with him after the after show parties, despite she getting the boot in week one. Amelia is to 'dignity' what fish are to dry land - impossible.

James reminds me of James Morrison and Daniel Merriweather he is unique in that he has a unique voice he does not sound or even try to sound like anyone else, thats what I want not a carbon copy or worse a poor copy of someone elses voice.

You should check out some of his videos, he has an excellent high register and a very good falsetto.

Well good for you, air your opinions thats what sites should be about not all agreeing but not being nasty either. For me the girl looks right up Frankie's street so nothing said has surprised me on that score, even though I was not aware until today of it...
On James being poor on the first live show, I thought Amelia was dire to be honest with you ,and at least I can admit James was poor...

What we need is talent - James Michael is just mediocre and he was absolutely dreadful at Judges Houses and the Live show.
Gary Barlow, made a big mistake with Frankie, choosing him over someone far more talented (the guy who got to JH with Dannii the other year).
James is of the same ilk - weak tone and voice, absolutely no range - as a result he limited in every way. Sort of like Frankie and Janet.

Fair enough, we are all entitled to our opinions. I thought Amelia's performance on the 1st live show was quite weak too. (death slot, bad makeover, bad song for her) But I think that based on her judges houses performance she is capable of being very good.
Good looking lad I give him that, but very wet as someone said above. Really not interested in someone who speaks his lyrics in native accent rather than singing them and has to wail about his life in a council estate and single mum with umpteen kids to gain sympathy.
We've had his type with Scott Bruton, Ethan Boroain (?sp) Rikki Loney and Austin Drage in the past, this is nothing new! Just because he wears a hat and is pretty does not make him cool and edgy
