I had an HDD060 and it was crap to be honest, you'd be best getting an iPod mini for £180...

General advice - figure out what you want out of a player in terms of storage, music formats, battery life, capacity (you could always get a solid-state player and load it with a couple of hours of music at a time). Also figure out whether you want a jukebox or a music player which will also play albums - most mp3 players put annoying gaps between songs due to badly written software - if you want this feature (gapless playback) you're probably limited to Rio players.

Take a look through http://www.amazon.co.uk theyve got a good selection of MP3 players there, each player isslightly different
some of the better ones out there are from the likes of Creative Labs Rio I-river and not forgetting the I-pod theres a list of them at amazon here make a list of players that are withn your budget, and then fuind out everything you can about each player, what it can do, what it cant do, battery life, user reviews, support sites etc. |
