Does Gary Barlow Make You Cringe
julie2009

Watching Gary's opinion of Kitty's performance on Saturday night when he said "Babe you can't dance".
These comments don't suit him. If it had of been Robbie Williams or Simon Cowell who said it I wouldn't have minded but not Gary Barlow.

I find these sort of threads more cringey.

Never liked Gary and since his stint on the Xfactor its just gone worse.
He sits there with a smug look and basically is nasty.

With Simon he would deliver a really cutting Remark (nasty) the audience would turn hostile but cowell would pull them back. When you hear Gary proclaiming the audience booing is 'disgusting' hes like some 90 year old man sitting on a park bench.

You need Charisma to be a judge and he just doesnt have it.

The most cringe worthy Barlow moment (and there have been many) for me is when somebody swore at him (which we didn't hear) and turned to the audience and said 'who said that' in this really pathetic tone.

The babe comment-well to be honest it reminded me of when girls say things like 'you ok babe'-in fact I've heard Sinitta use it more than once (although S is not a girl-has'nt been for many a year-it was that sorta babe.

And he just sounded like a t**t.

Cringe is probably a bit strong. He has certainly gone down in my (and I expect many others) estimation..but he did that just by agreeing to appear on the show in the first place.

I felt for him during the progress tour- he really did his best to dance but it was very grandpa like compared to the others. Great voice though, effortless.

garys always battled against the conception that hes stuffy and humourless

i imagine he did the x factor to show off the "real gary" the one whos charasmatic etc

but all thats happened is that hes come across as stuffy and humourless

True. But he looks like he's a freak in the bedroom

I don't think he has been himself -I think he has acted like he has a role to play (as in bad guy) or something?

Only it hasn't worked out that way and has just made him look a bit weird and daft to be honest-contradicting himself on various occasions lol

I realise he thought he was just being honest, but announcing "Last week I lied..." has only damaged his credibility.

Before X Factor we had no idea his word was worth nothing.
Now we all know.

It's a bit sad.

I don't really mind either way when it comes to Gary, he makes me cringe when he attempts a funny comment but he seems to be the only judge who actually has anything worth while to say

Louis Walsh makes me cringe till i'm inside out!
