I know the big story of the day is the four whole will be going in but are we playing into the hands of the producers by forgetting about the other six that are actually in the show?

I mean there has not been a thread on here slating//praising any of the contestants who are actually in. Do we want to fall into the hands of sensationalism and ignore the acts?

I mean there must be something to say about the rest of them, if Frankie hadn't have left we would at least still have been discussing them.

So anything to say about the others actually in the competition?

Apart from Marcus and Misha the others could not turn up and I wouldn't even notice.

Marcus is interesting in that he was obviously due for an early exit according to the heavy scripting. He was very much one of the expendables.

But as the whole show fell apart, he has stood out. Something real amongst all the contrived nonsense and over-hyped finalists.

I agree with both of these. I hope he either gets a decent Queen song or a decent Gaga song he needs to knock it out of the park because I have a feeling they are trying to set-up all those contestants already in for a fall (though I wouldn't mind Craig or Kitty going myself) and it wouldn't be fair.

Lol, didn't say it was true, just that I keep hearing those rumors. Like, from someone who said they worked with him (they posted on DS), someone who met him at a signing (also posted on DS), someone who's been following his FB (again, posted on DS). Coincidence? Fabrications? I really don't know.

So yeah, granted, it's impossible to know how true these accounts are, but when I hear multiple people say the same thing alarm bells start ringing, you know? I do hope there's no truth to it though, X-Factor has shattered enough illusions for one year I think.

Well I was not a Marcus fan, thought he was pants week one, along with Frankie who was also crap.. and went on to be every week, however for me Marcus upped his game, and I really like him, loved the song last week and he can dance as well.

I wonder if he is not the one they want to win though what nasty rumours will be dragged out.. as sure as hell they will be if they are not wanting Marcus as the winner.. Misha B being bottom ruined her chances, it showed the public she is not as popular as she herself thinks she is, and may have been a shock for the show who thought she was a dead cert for finals.

I think this week will have been tough on most of them in the house, and I think this weekend will be as well, I only hope whoever goes back in is not given a hard time, as I think some of them could turn pretty nasty and hostile if they think the newbie could steal their thunder or worse stay and they get booted out..

Actually there's only one thread on a current contestant - Janet - on the first three pages. So if what you are asking is - have the 4 potential returnees completely eclipsed the current contestants in the minds of the public - the answer is yes this is what currently appears to have happened. So whoever returns is virtually certain to get through the next week and possibly the week after on a surge of public approval. Fair? Of course not, this is the X Factor!
