Martin / Sarah is heating up!!
Wow - the Martin/Sarah/Sonia storyline is really heating up! The girl that plays Sarah is a very good actress.
The storyline is becoming quite exciting and enticing. I can't wait for the climax... Any comments?

It has gained a lot of speed. When it started it looked as though it would be a complete turn off but it is getting better.

Eastenders was great tonight and the girl who play's Sarah is scary! I hope they do not kill her off KH is great for making physcho's (kelly in holby was great too) so I hope she see's sense and brings her back full time once this story has finished.
And the rest of the episode was not that bad neither. EE has done well.

Why did he have to chase round??. All he had to do was wait for people to bring the things to him and he could have destroyed them without even opening them |

and another thing , i thought he wasnt interested in her, so why does he talk to her etc! and! i saw him and her alone in the house , sharing the couch watching telly! if that aint sending mix signals, then what is! i feel sorry for her! plus im sure sonia will forgive him, afterall she forgave him for killing her fiancee afterall |

Feel really sorry for Martin. It's turning out to be a very good storyline. Glad the pace was slow at first and seems to be picking up. There'd be complaints if Monday night he shagged her, Tuesday and Thursday she stalked him and Sonia, and then Friday night she was in the padded cell. It's being done very well.
Love the way she's convinced he wants her even though he yells at her and tells her she was a mistake. She's a bit like Eddie in Friends with her own memory of events and what they mean. Scary, scary girl. |

See Lisa, we are capable.
I have always liked this storyline, the only thing I don't like is how stupid Martin is. Surely he would just ignore the letters, I would have. Also, are there really girls like this? I was like, love, you are desperate and pathetic, have you got no life

Trust me to spoil it then
It didn't ring at all true to me. I think the actress who plays Sarah is good, but this storyline shows Martin needs some acting lessons. The whole paperchase seemed very lifeless and contrived (and I agree, why didn't he just ignore it, the dimwit).Sorry to go off topic a bit, but just to add some positives : I liked the scenes with Chrissy, she is such a good actress, she brings life and warmth into whatever she plays (a bit like June Brown). I hope they're going to give Chrissy a lot of screen time . Speaking of which, am I alone in thinking the guy who plays Keith is excellent? Horrible character, but brilliantly played. What was going on with Alfie? One minute in the depths of despond, the next back to cheery chappy. The writers have no clue when they have to write 'deep' (see also "Gary's suicide attempt"), afterwards they just want us to forget about it. |

I'm bored with the Martin story - they're dragging it out too much. Last night was good - but I just know that next time the two of them appear Martin will once again be trying to appease Sarah and be stringing her along. He told her to eff off a few weeks' ago and then suddenly decided to keep her sweet. We go two steps forward and one step back.
And as for Alfie - how nice to think that people could have a nervous breakdown and recover so quickly. |

You are right, I have noticed that Martin can't act for toffee. He was probably better when he was the bad boy and could only scowl to show emotion. Keith...awful character but unfortunately there are people like this about I do look at him and think "Please wash".I think Alfie is just putting on a brave face again to the very much overly long speech. I think that works, but Gary's suicide attempt from what I have heard was bad as he seems to have come back from depression after that easily! I know this is a bit cliche...but I hope the Sarah/Martin storyline comes to a head on Halloween!!!!

I really dont like this storyline. I just find it unbelievable. Why didnt he tell her to eff off and then tell Sonia that she is hassling him. Then, if she tells Sonia about the affair he can say that she is making the whole thing up - because she is obsessed by him. She has no proof that they slept together ... unless she is preggers.
