So do all four of them get to sing on Saturday before the voting closes ?

or is it litterally just a popularity vote then the one with the most votes goes in the competition ?

What I want to know is, will the one who comes back have to sing on Saturday and chance being voted out again by the public when put up against the remaining contestants, or are they going to get a bye to next Saturday - which wouldn't be fair to the others, although I suppose you could say if that happens whoever gets voted out would have got voted out anyway with or without the returning person.

As I understand it (and I could be well off) - the four acts are being voted on on previous performances/popularity only. The act with the most number of votes will sing on Saturday for the public vote and will be at risk of elimination come Sunday.

Of course, they could be holding back on information because they're trying to get some more time from ITV for the four to perform at the start of the show. Syco will probably be happy for the show to run until 10pm, so there's fifteen minutes there, and they may try and get ITV to drop You've Been Framed for Creature Comforts so The X Factor can start at 8 and run for two hours.

No, because Johnny was voted off (as he didn't get enough votes) by the public - if they had bought him back, OFCOM would've got involved. The show would be undermining the public vote; as it is it's undermining the mentors.

Their biggest mistake was having an unneeded double eviction. It should've waited until the semi final; or even have a four person final with one leaving on the Saturday and one leaving an hour in on Sunday to keep more momentum over the final weekend.

The public knew the bottom three would be at risk, and put Johnny in the bottom three. Also, if he was brought back then people would ask what was the point of saving the others, if they were simply going to be reintroduced.

Ashford was a replacement in an established act which hadn't been voted off. He didn't replace that act.

Nu Vibe had been voted off. Not Ashford as an individual - the public never voted for Ashford as an individual. But I do think him coming back lost The Risk support resulting in their departure.

Lol! Hardly like animals?

Why shouldnt they take advantage of getting back on the show ?
I would imagine they are all quite keen?!!

According to unreality tv

This week’s theme is Queen and Lady Gaga so each of the returning acts will prepare a song – but only one will get the chance to perform it on Saturday night’s show which starts at 8.15pm on ITV1.

How many times has this been said - OFCOM would NOT have got involved because of how the voting works. you vote for you you want to SAVE not who you want out. As long as those who gained enough votes to be safe are still there, then it wouldnt matter to OFCOM if another was brought back. The only possible exception to this would have been The Risk as we know they received fewest votes. Ultimately the Judges voted Johnny off not the public.

It matters not however, as the producers didnt go the "bring Johnny" back route - which they should have done really.

The public voted to save acts from the bottom three; we may as well not bothered if the production team turned round and plucked an act from the bottom three to compete next week. It would be bad publicity for the show (worse than this IMO) if they'd overidden the format they had set last week and undermined the public in the process.
