"My fan base is ridiculously big now. If it was a public vote I would have got through."

“It’s the best thing that could have happened.”

“I can be me and make it on my own – that’s what I’d prefer to do anyway."

“I’m not going to be made into a manufactured X Factor star now.”

That and plus her idiotic parents too.

Why waste my money, shame I wanted her to get back in, not now though, I wouldn't bother voting at all personally.

Yes, I do.

Nothing she said was THAT bad. This is a talent show, not a "can they kiss the producer's ass best" show.

Can't believe there hasn't already been a number of threads saying exactly the same thing.

Oh, hang on.....

I agree she is just another good singer. and 16?? i thought she was 24.

She was just trying to stay positive in a situation which really had a bad effect on her. To see her genuine reaction go back and watch the clip where she was eliminated. She clearly wanted it BADLY. And yes as a reaction to getting eliminated she may have said some stuff which she probably regrets to; but she's a sixteen year old girl. I'm only twenty one and even to me that seems really young.

It's also very telling that the only way people can attack her is on some comments (taken completely out of context) in some post show interviews. Surely her voice, talent, stage presence should be some of the stuff that should come up in a you know, competition that's looking for a new recording artist?

No.

No.

And since when was X Factor about finding a recording artist? - That went out the door two years ago.

And since when do you be judge, jury and executioner for a 16 yr old girl?

XFactor is not about saying the perfect things off-stage, do you think Lady Gaga or a thousand other top music stars do that? Are the best singers/talent often not quite confident about their own ability and hate to lose? Do you know the persona of every person you have in your record collection and judge them by what they've said in the past if it wasnt to your liking?

Get real - the girl has talent, much more than the other 3 and she was robbed at last 16, this just smells of bitterness and desperation to put people off her. Repeat....she's a 16 yur old girl, should someone that young be held back by things they may regret saying for the rest of their life?

Regardless of what she says , she was one of the most talented acts in the final 16. Her coming back would be the only outcome that would actually mean anything for the show.

People who post stuff like that on boards like this have such messed up priorities. It would be one thing if she was a coke snorting insincere talentless git, like Frankie. She's not. She's a good talented singer who was salvaging her pride and was tired of ass-kissing the show. And young. Very young.

Well you're on here complaining about and arguing against people voting for a certain act , so I guess it does

I'm not voting for anyone. But even so I can see that this twist is pointless if she does not come back seeing as though there was no major shock at any of the other acts being sent home.

James/Frankie?

That outrage was at Frankie not being sent home rather than James being sent home. James was probably the most low-key act there this year.

Personally, I didn't care one way or the other. But after reading this thread and some of the others where people have posted some of the things she's said in recent weeks, I've changed my mind.

Now I definitely want her back in.

Exactly the shock was James not getting through and Frankie doing so, not that Amelia did not get through, Sophie was a far better singer imo anyway, but that is just my opinion so dont slate me for it.

Being ungrateful after she was eliminated shouts of sour grapes, she had a chance on the show, she did not get through to then slate it and say she does not need the X makes her look very very silly now, whereas two of the other acts have said nothing, just left with dignity, and one of them should have got through in the first place over the act now axed.

Some one says she was tired of ass kissing the show, well you know the saying those you meet on the way up and pee off you meet on the way down, she is now eating humble pie and it is not really working for me, she should haved stayed silent, it would have been far better, and as for her spouting about her fan base, she better hope they are all voting for her then,.

No, you just don't like her for whatever reason and you don't want her back on the show so you're trying to post stuff about her to get people not to vote for her. If someone who you liked had said something you found hypocritical you probably wouldn't have posted anything.
