Now she just needs to sort out how to speak without sounding like a slightly retarted toddler

Wow, that's the best I've ever heard her sound. She looks very relaxed too.

Damn, this has to be one of the most annoying things to see on the web:

"This video is no longer available because the YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated due to multiple third-party notifications of copyright infringement from claimants, including: IFPI"

Either way, yes, she is (or should that be 'was' ) great here, particularly on Beautiful People, so frustrating 'cause she nailed that song here and now I may never be able to hear it again.

Why use a dozen words when one will suffice?

Er, because it make sense? If it were me I'd say why I disliked it, because it seems like the constructive thing to do. Their reply simply makes them look like a troll whose opinion is therefore much less valid than it could otherwise be.

And Martyn, you're spot-on there.

She's got a nice singing voice. Shame she can't sing her way through interviews. Her speaking voice is...odd.

Oh I see, so having explained their views ad infinitum her fans would see the error of their ways and realise just how dire she is...

Not in my case. I think she's a very good singer, especially in an acoustic setting, and I like how I can hear emotion in her voice (especially in Beautiful People). Don't get me wrong, she's not the best singer in the world (she's certainly not a belter to the extent that many others are) but I still really like her voice.

If my praise of her is a foreign language to you then we'll just have to agree to disagree.
