Can someone take that rod out of Steve Jones's back

This man is so bad as a presenter - how on earth did he get the job? Wooden, stilted, unable to adlib. Forget about the vocal coaches working on the contestants the producers need to put in some serious input into helping this guy "develop" into a bonefide presenter - or vote him off!

Yeah I agree. I wonder who will be the host next year on XFUSA?

Simon needs to dangle some money in front of Cat Deeley and get her out of her current contract with Nigel Lythgoe. US audience adore her, and then he holds onto his need for a British presence.

Well to get back to the original question in the topic title, if they removed that rod, then the servo-motors moving his arms and legs back and forth would no longer work, and he'd be stuck in one position!

Give the poor Robot a break!

If he wants to destroy this show. He is a joke.

Simon wants Cat Deeley. She is a great host! Take note Steve!

I was just playing suggesting that. But if its actually true that Simon does, then I've gained some respect back for him. She's just about the most underrated host out there, and as I said, Americans already are very familiar with her, and I've rarely heard even minor negative comments about her on US discussion boards--the love seems almost universal.

While X-F and So You Think You Can Dance are on the same US network, "Uncle" Nigel Lythgoe and his production company are VERY unlikely to want to accommodate Simon Cowell though.
