WOW, just bloody WOW! Shit, what is she going to be like when her voice matures? The USA and UK shows are on different planets. I like them both but for different reasons.

Simon Cowell was channeling what I said as I watched her too - she was brilliant!

She's a bit too... precocious. She needs to stop trying to be a modern Shirley Temple, or whatever the hell she's doing. Or maybe its even more like she's doing a constant audition not for a singing contest, but for a Disney Channel TV show.

She's probably a lovely kid, and the bit they showed with her parents last episode gave a good indication she was pretty well raised. She just needs to gear it back a bit and be a bit less consciously "cutesy".

I must be the only one who didn't really like it. I can see her talent, but in her performance she's acting like a middle-aged singer so it all seems a little false. She's 12, act 12!

What? Her three previous songs were kid songs, from Justin Bieber to Backstreet Boys. So kids can't sing great songs from legendary artists? Look at people like Christina Aguilera and Beyonce when they were younger. They were covering Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Motown songs. If anything her ability to nail songs like an Etta James classic show how much range she has.

She blew me away tonight. Absolutely amazing.

Which doesn't alter the fact that I dont think she should be there. She's a child. She'll still be amazing in a few years time. Let her be a kid.

Rachel is great. She can sing circles round the contestants on the UK X Factor. The kids in X Factor USA - Rachel, Astro and Drew - are amazing.

What? Her three previous songs were kid songs, from Justin Bieber to Backstreet Boys.
And from those she probably appealed to her target audience, the kids. Her latest will not appeal to the kids, they wont know the song which could cost her votes long term.

I don't think Rachel will appeal to me whatever she does to be honest, I would not buy her album no matter how they market her.

She was very good, but I don't think anybody can go wrong singing that terrific Etta James song "I'd rather go Blind."

She's good and likeable but like all child performers she's limited. She can't sing anything emotional orprofoud because she's still a child. Interesting that she seems a LOT more than a year younger than Drew who could pass for 30.
