Contracts

Were the four acts who may be brought back still under contract and being paid by x factor?

What if they had not been available. One of them is about to give birth any minute and Jonjo might have been deployed to Iraq or somewhere when they got kicked off x factor.

They all come back to sing or at least show up their mugs in the last show. So I assume they are under contract until Little Mix win

If one of them didn't want to come back, I bet there is nothing the show could do about it. I doubt Cowell would peruse them if they declined even if he could - he understands the pressures of the show and wouldn't want a deadbeat there anyway.

I'm sure he wants to do it,but its good that the army lets someone leave to do a TV show, then rejoin the army, then with a day's notice leave again and do a TV show for an indefinite period.

Errrr.... I think they get more notice than that and aren't we already out of Iraq?

I believe it operates similar to that of a Big Brother series. They are contracted to be called upon for spin off shows and so on up until the end of the series at the producers discression! Just by chance this is a great reason for them to be called back!

I also think very similarly to BB they sign a contract of silence for pretty much eternity. I auditioned for BB twice and I had to sign a contract after I got past the first round swearing I would not reveal anything of the behind the scenes process. I am liable to be sued by Endemol if I do.

I assume Syco set a similar thing in place for X Factor.
