Josh singing Joe Cocker

Did an amazing job - has to be a real contender for the final of US X Factor. But what really struck me - not one of this year's UK X Factor finalists could get close to even attempting this - particularly in the overs. Are the judges being extremely short sighted in this category over here and treated it as a lost cause - therefore a joke element - before really giving in a try? Surely, if it was treated as a serious category (or even a serious content) there MUST be some auditionees with potential?

It seems like Louis is the one that treats the category as a joke, he brings the most outrageous people forward in place of those with really good voices who could have a serious career

There was a time when some genuine contenders entered the Overs category such as Rowetta, Brenda, Andy, Maria, Ben, but nowdays not as many people of that age group seem to enter, or if they do we dont get to see them. Those who have good voices seem to be rejected in favour of joke acts so I doubt many can be bothered to put themselves through it these days.

Louis put Goldie into his top 4. Sums it up. But actually the US Overs category was incredibly strong, you could easily go with the next 4 down. I don't think their are that better than ours though overall - Kitty can really sing, albeit in the USA she would be a 'girl' I suppose!

Who's Josh? Hang on, on second thoughts I don't want to know. I have seen and heard quite enough no-talented and semi-talented XF fu**tards for this season.

Josh was absolutely brilliant.

Noooo.. he's very good granted, but that was a vain and stupid reinterpretation of the JoeC version and I cringed at most of it. Cowell, damn him, seems to be giving much straighter advice on USA than he has here for a while, the first half didn't work and I think the second was a bit skin-of-your-teeth.

Josh sounds a lot like JoeC and I expected this song to get sung sooner or later, but messing with the original's well crafted timing, emphasis, momentum... in order to prove he's not JoeC was plain silly.

Singing a Joe Cocker song.(WTF)............and not one of these musically knowledgeable judges mentioned it. It's a Beatles song

Oh and Josh sang it beautifully. I love his voice
