I honestly think Amelia is going to win the show now

Misha B is too up and down and not likable at all.

Marcus doesn't have the x factor. Good voice but very bland performer.

Janet is short of variety.

Kitty is unpopular.

Craig doesn't seem to have grabbed the nation.

Honestly she ticks all the boxes and I'm rooting for her.

I don't see how Amelia could win the public over that much in 4 weeks.

I don't think she will. She'll have too many people against her for skipping so many weeks of the live shows.

She would have to outsing every one else to do it and she's missed half the series, so unlikely. Anyway, don't jump the gun, she hasn't even got back in yet!

What I think is more likely is that she will take votes off Janet and stop her from winning.

Amelia shouldn't come back, nor should 2 Shoes, Jonjo or the other guy, James - they were out first time around. It should be Johnny Robinson to be fair, whether you like him or not. Otherwise it is all being farcical.

I bet she doesn't. Everybody's assuming that she'll win the public vote this weekend, she may not even win that.

Completely agree with the OP. Most people were horrified that Kelly picked Sophie over Amelia as they knew Sophie would quickly become boring. Amelia was a lot of people's favourite after judges houses (including me).

Kelly did her no favours at all giving her such a crap song to do.

She will definitely get to the final 3.

Side point....does anyone else just think this was going to happen all along? As soon as the 4 went I immediately thought there'll be a vote at some point to bring one of the 4 back. They've just used Frankie as a cover to do it....they were planning to do it all along & are desperately trying to maintain people's interest in the show in my opinion.

If this does happen I can see Amelia getting lots of backlash to be honest. And being a diva.

I think it's possible. The theme this Saturday will suit her. She will still be fresh in the listeners' minds for a week or two.

If she does it will be a complete travesty though. Not her fault of course.

I don't think she ticks all the boxes at all. She's a good singer and performer but against that she's young, has a habit of overdoing things (showing off) and in my somewhat worldly-wise view, has the all-round appearance of a downmarket, drug-dependent pole dancer.

More pertinent than any of the above 'reservations' however is the fact that the great british public, with their famed love of fair play will hate the idea of somebody previously rejected by a supposed expert, waltzing back onto the show and taking the prize having rested-up watching other contestants being put through the mill for five weeks. Even if she were talented enough, and I don't think she is, it would never happen.

I don't agree. If she has one belter of a performance everyone will immediately be rooting for her. If she is back in, she's already in people's minds as they've voted to get her back anyway so I reckon she's getting a lot of good publicity at the moment.

I also think the difference in votes between each contestant are marginal this year with no clear favourites..she could pick up a lot of the floating voters that are getting bored.

I saw the betting on Betfair a few weeks ago and once someone gets knocked out they go to the biggest betfair price which is 1000/1 and they stay that. However, amelia was between 150 + 600's and i thought why is she that price when she cannot win because she is out.... luckily i had a few quid at 260/1 and im now pleased she's back in. although i was part of the johnny clan, but knew there would be a twist of some sort

But the GBP didn't vote her out & a lot of people were a but miffed Kelly dumped her. Lets be honest up until her performance that night everyone thought Sophie was going.

Yep agreed.....they were always going to do this regardless of Frankie. I think them sacking Frankie is a lie anyway. They knew what he was like...

They used him to get people talking about the show & to attract controversy yet when there was a bit of a public backlash it was a perfect opportunity to 'right the wrong' of the public not getting their say on 4 contestants plus it has the added bonus of making them look like they are taking the moral high ground.

The whole thing is a total set up. Frankie probably knew all along he would be out at some point. The producers knew he couldn't sing for toffee he was brought in to get people talking about XF & that's it.

Agreed but it was all a long time ago. The thing is that the vast majority of viewers have surely by now aligned themselves with an established act, or two. This means that there are relatively few spare or floating votes to be had. Amelia (or whoever else is reintroduced) has missed the boat in that respect and so is relying on people changing allegiance quickly and in adequate numbers. I don't see it happening. It would not be her fault but being reintroduced at this stage, regardless of the manner of her leaving, is grossly unfair on the other contestants and I think most voters will feel that strongly.

I think she'll be back out quickly and may take Kitty (another loud show-off) with her by chipping off a section of the loud-show-off / rough-pole-dancer-fanatic vote.

I completely disagree with that. Marcus' voice is good but one of the weaker ones of the competition. He is now favourite because of his good performances, not because of some ballad 'moment'.

I was going to say this too. I'd say he's a good performer with a bland voice. Since Rock Week, he's really surprised me performance-wise.

I think she will win it as well. I hope so anyway, she's my fave besides Misha B and she has the talent. I'll be voting for Amelia if I vote for any of them.

Hopefully not, would be really unfair.

Everyone will be immediately rooting for her? Umm, no. I don't care how well she performs, I will never be rooting for her because she doesn't deserve to win having missed so many weeks of live shows, and I know I'm not alone in thinking this.

I honestly think she doesn't have a cat in hell's chance of winning. The replacement thing will count in her favour and I fully expect Frankie fans to be against her due to their break-up/her probably being his replacement.

I very much doubt she'll get past this weekend, yet alone win the whole thing.

You have to remember that all four of these guys have been out of the general public's eyes for weeks now, whereas the other have gained their respective fanbases'.

Amelia may have X twitter etc. followers, but popularity on the interwebs isn't a sure-fire reflection of how popular you are in the real world.

I wish her luck. Honestly. But I think this twist will rebound and just serve as more live humiliation for said act.

It wouldn't be fair. You are telling me she deserves to win in the same way of the others with only 5 shows, when should be 10?

Im not too sure she will get through.

I was initially confident, but James has alot of fans aswell, and Jonjo has alot of supporters who are/were in the xfactor (marcus, the risk) who are telling their fans to vote..so we'll see what influence that holds.

the only act out of the four that i really dont think have a chance are two shoes.

Just the way the cookie crumbles. So what? Besides, when has the X Factor ever been fair? Far better someone who could actually go on to have a career wins like Amelia, than either Craig or Marcus who will both be dropped after being put through the Cowell machine. Neither have star quality IMO.
