I think i must have missed a big section in the storyline - but does Les know that Cilla lied about her large inheritance ? Didnt she 'buy' a lovely red sports car ?

How did he forgive her ?

I THINK she claimed that her aunt had left everything to the local cats' home.

Slightly OT, but I saw the actress who plays Cilla on tv the other day and she is COMPLETELY different!! She talks nicely and even looks quite attractive in real life - amazing

According to the news of the world, Paul Barber (who played Denzel in Only Fools and Horses) is joining corrie, and turns out to be one of cilla's old flames.

Dont you think this storyline was brushed under the carpet ? I mean, Les had told almost the whole street that he was in the money. Why wasnt there ridicule ? Why did he believe Cilla's lies ?

Yes it was over and done with very quickly. The car just disappeared and she explained the money was going to a cats home and then that was it. Very strange, the Les of old would have gone nuts and at least shouted not just shrugged his shoulders and then gone off to the tip to get his stuff back. Also Chesney was way way too accepting of this witch back given that she had abandoned him.

I should like to see more of Jayne Tunnicliffe who made her debut last night as Cilla's friend Yana. She was hilarious and made a very convincing Mancunian
