Louis, Tulisa, Dannii, George Michael.

Or, alternatively: Jeremy Kyle, Katie Price, Louis, & Lindsay Lohan (Skyping from her prison cell). I maintain that this would be a golden panel.

Not one judge under 40 representing a current pop star? Nuh-uh.

Simon would rather have his old teeth back than have Dannii back.

Erm, Simon, Dannii/Sharon, Tulisa & Louis.

Judges, mentors and voting should be separated like on Strictly come dancing.

The public always have the final say and it stops production team manipulation.

Except they don't. The judges are responsible for 50% of the result.

I'm pretty sure the producers would manipulate the show regardless of the format.

Even that would be better than the farce format they currently have.

Not really? The Strictly judges actually have a lot more power than the X Factor judges. Their scores could land someone in the bottom 2 & possibly knock them out whereas the X Factor judges can only choose between the bottom 2 - Strictly is a lot easier to manipulate because of this.

Yes but they don't mentor them so have no vested interest.

Which is rather irrelevant to your point about producer manipulation.

Add a new judge. Either one to be completely impartial or split the overs into a overs male/female category like they did to under 24s when bringing in a fourth judge.

I'd like:

Simon Cowell - The show has been missing something without him even though he drove me mad last year. Gary has sucked in my opinion.
Dannii Minogue - really missed her this year
Justin Timberlake/Will Young/Dizzie Rascal - a young male popstar for a change
Tulisa - done a brilliant job this year I think
Jermaine Jackson - Probably thinking WTF? but he's a member of Pop's royal family, he's worked with dozens of artists and he was in the Jackson 5. Much more experience than Louis!

Elton John.
Tulisa Contostavlos.
Dizzie Rascal.
Kylie Minogue.

I think that covers the bases of what would make a good judging panel.

You have "the veteran" (Elton) who doesn't bullshit and you'd actually value the opinion of, "the good looking up-and-comer" (Tulisa) who is talented and a good TV personality but also has an underlying knowledge of the business and what it takes, "the cool one" (Dizzie) that has grafted for his success and represents a huge part of the British music scene that is yet to be explored, and lastly "the nice one" (Kylie) who is also a long standing respected artist who the nation loves but can appeal to the younger generations too.

If they really wanted to transform the XF into a genuine search for a music act, they need to ditch the manipulators and game-players, and make the panel credible and trustworthy but still energetic and entertaining.

Dannii Minogue - As head judge, returning to 'save' the show.
Mark Ronson - Songwriter, Producer contemporary artist
Tulisa - Popstar, youthful and very committed to her acts great mentor.
Louis Walsh - It wouldn't be the same without Louis, I'd like him to get a non joke category

Annie Lennox (the veteran of sorts), Simon Cowell (the boss. I'm convinced that this show will not work without the bossman in the mix), Tulisa (the feisty up and coming female artist) and Olly Murs (the idea of an ex contestant as a judge/mentor is a good one, just NOT Alexandra Burke.com. Plus he's got the personality to pull it off).

Sorry but Alexandra Burke/org has got bags of personality. She was a fabulous judge.
