Emmerdale's Steph attempts to kill Emily?
A rumour, but it's been mentioned for a while now that Emily finds Shelly's belongings and Steph can't be too careful, so decides to set fire to the post office with Emily inside!
Also Alan cottons onto what Steph is doing soon (that definitely is true). I don't think Emily will die, but Steph might bump off Alan. Now personally I wouldn't miss Alan, so if they get rid of him and Emily can't actually prove anything, it would be a cracking storyline and would mean the psycho-bitch can live on in the village for a long time yet! Alternatively they could kill off Emily and keep Alan alive - Steph is clever so I'm sure she can twist him around her finger somehow to avoid him telling the police. Do the whole, "I'm your daughter" guilt trip thing. The Shelly situation would be hard to explain though! Anyway, all speculation, but I love the sound of it. It's big and dramatic but also see sher get away with it all! Which certainly pleases me (I'm aware her character would have to come to an end eventually, but hopefully not for a long LONG time).

Sounds Good!
Just a suggestion though I would have put this as a spolier and for the post title I would have put somthing like Emmerdale Spolier. |

I probably should have done, but it's only a rumour for now..
There's a strong possibility Eric could get roped into all of this too, judging by (these are minor spoilers so I'm not shading them out): 13 October Over at the factory, Pollard (Chris Chittell) gets a shock when trading standards pay him a visit claiming they believe counterfeit goods are being manufactured. He quickly insists that he knows nothing about the handbags and they will have to speak to his business partner. Panic stricken Steph (Lorraine Chase) insists that there must have been a misunderstanding. 14 October Over at the factory, Steph (Lorraine Chase) attempts to sort out the problem with trading standards and tells Pollard (Chris Chittell) that the longest stretch they could get is three years inside. Uncomforted, Pollard decides to tell his solicitor that Steph has duped him. Meanwhile, Emily (Kate McGregor) sits with Turner (Richard Thorp) and is concerned to find out that Turner (Richard Thorp) has taken more than his recommended daily dosage of pills. She is also bemused when he rambles incomprehensively about Shelly (Carolyn Pickles). How long will it be before Steph’s treacherous treatment is uncovered? 15 October Steph (Lorraine Chase) is annoyed when Turner (Richard Thorp) refuses to take his pills, but believes she has won when he pops them in his mouth. Steph is unaware that as she turns her back he defiantly spits them into the bin. Turner later manages to get out of bed and is horrified when he looks out of the window to see Steph selling his beloved motorbike. When Turner confronts her she panics and pretends to cry, claiming that the B&B is going under and she was desperate. Steph goes to get him a drink promising to tell him everything on her return. Before coming back she spikes his drink with pills and before long he is too drowsy to talk. As he falls asleep, she quietly warns him that he will be going the same way Shelly did if he doesn’t watch it. Will Steph really carry out her threats? |

I have to say this storyline is excellent but because of the amount of episodes a week I can't actively keep up
![]() I watch every now and then, but I'm missing out... |

I hate Steph so much. I have to switch channels whenever she appears on-screen.

Steph is the best Emmerdale character of the moment, and perhaps one of the best soap crazy bitches ever! Lorraine Chase is also an outstanding actress. |

I think it's mostly me
But there ARE quite a few people who like her, and others who are beginning to like her more and more I think. |

I'm with you Drifter I think she is fab and sertainly one fo the best actresses and characters in the Dales at the moment. I'm stunned that someone doesn't "like" her. I don't mean like as in be your best friend but like as in she is a great character with good storylines.
