Beaten up over the duration of one song, and then found by your mate, during the SAME song? Hardly!

Loved the red wine cut

Was going to start a thread with a similar title but might as well join this one. Some things I noticed tonight.
1) it was actually very good. liked the family dinner with the Millers. Poor Kareena
2) how orange was Sharon's face when she was going out? She really should go to see Dr.Leroy about that I'm sure its not normal. Maybe because Kat isn't around tehre is more fake tan than normal to be used up.
3) how minging was her hair.? She really could do with Chrissy giving her a cut
4) Given that we have never seen Denis Rickman drive anywhere or need to either where the hell did he suddenly get the money for a 5 series BMW???
6) this one is just a "supposing" but did anyone else think that Sharon would turn up at Tommy's tonight? especially when she had been spotted in the area earlier that day?

Yes we have, he drove Andy's car when he was giving Dot a lift to and from the hospital.

I actually thought tonights episode was very good. There was great chemistry between Dennis and Chrissie which made their scenes in the car very enjoyable. Still cant take Andy seriously as a gangster though.

Ok I stand corrected on that point but would he give Denis the car to go and stake out his half sister's old possibly cheating boyfriend? Especially a 5 series? Its not as though he works for Andy nad could call it a "company" car is it?

Well, Andy didn't know about Dot's illness so it is possible that Dennis didn't tell Andy what he wanted the car for or made up an excuse (that's presuming that he got the car from Andy), I see your point though.

I think I may have an idea why chocopop liked this episode so much... all that Nigel Harman...

I thought the scenes between him and Chrissy were great - not just well acted, which I would expect of them, but well written. I really hope these two get together, they work very well together. Nigel H's acting has really come on hasn't it

The Andy/Sam stuff was repetitive and dull though, and all I can say is - thank god Minty finally got beaten up, Andy's been threatening it for what seems like decades, can we move on now, hmm?

Sharon's hair appears to have a life of its own now, I wouldn't be surprised if it had its own agent .

Overall, good and bad in parts, but mainly enjoyable.

God had nothing to do with poor Minty being beaten up. Are you an Andy apologist???

It was a good episode , Dummy and her brother were less irritating and it was was funny when he asked Keith how many fingers he was holding up.

Today episode was all great and enjoyable.

I love the scene when Chrissie was on the phone trying to get Tommy address, it was very funny. The scene with her and Dennis were fab.

I really am become to like Minty, feel sorry for him at the end.

How anyone can diss the Watts is beyond me. Is it not painfully clear to you lot that they make episodes good? Everytime there's a good episode these days, it's because of Chrissie, Dennis or Den. I'm not even kidding. If they weren't there, what would there have been? Andy and Sam? Millers? Whoop-te-doo!

Accept it people, Nigel is a good actor these days

I feel that now I've succumbed to liking Nigel, I have to agree with you. I've never actually thought he was that bad, not as bad as others inc. Chris Parker (maybe that should have been a sign for me ) He was good tonight, I enjoyed watching the Chrissie/Dennis scenes.

A really good episode that held my attention for the whole half hour for as change. I think all that Nigel Harman had something to do with it! He works well with Chrissie. I wonder if this is leading up to a new storyline when Sharon leaves. I hope he soon dumps Zoe - she's all wrong for him.
If this standard keeps up we might see Eastenders getting lots of viewers in the near future.

I thought she was actually. Did anyone else happen to think the building in which Tommy lived looked familiar? No? Well they wouldn't because the last time they were seen on EastEnders they were dark and dingy and were home to Janine during her prostitution days and if memory serves me right, they were run by none other than Minty! who came a cropper tonight in the Arches.

I really enjoyed tonights episode, and last nights aswell. Sharon's hair is awful. and I love Chrissie! she's fab

I agree about Nigel. He is one of the best things in Eastenders at the moment. He has some real chemistry with the actress who plays Chrissie Watts. I hope the new producer gives him better plots to work with than the drawn out "Shannis" saga.

I agree, i quite enjoyed the episode for once, and loved seeing Andy getting really angry because Minty & marcus kept foiling his plans to get Sam's money! lol, although i still hate him and his stupid "im so bad" look!
I do disagree about Sharon though, i like her crazy hair

Mostly pretty good, but who the arse is that new gangster bloke hanging around with Andy? And why is he acting every scene as though he's a panto villain? Very, very painful to watch.

Also, personal gripe, but I find it so unbelievably irritating, that when a business needs buying/selling/transferring, etc. Marcus "the expert solicitor in every area", not only comes around to the Mitchells/the Vic, but has the papers drawn up in record time - without even consulting his client on any part of it.

You jest! No, I was referring to the endlessness of this storyline - every second episode Minty is on the brink of being beaten up and then Andy changes his mind. I don't care about either Minty, Andy or Sam. Anyway given the incredible speed with which EE characters recover from major problems (Gary's suicide, Alfie's nervous breakdown) 'poor Minty' will be dancing the fandango by Thursday .

I liked tonights episode too, maybe the writers took a lesson in script writing

Anyways....I loved Sharon's hair and thought she actually looked pretty! It is better than her Grant days boy hair cut!!!

I am getting a little worried about Den and Chrissie....I too loved their chemistry but they were getting on too well, especially in light of the event that Chrissie is going to have an affair. I did think that the stake out was a bit stupid, do neither of them work? Also, it is a bit rich of Chrissie to criticise the age gap between Vicki and her man when she is with Grandfather Den!

Bless Kareena! Please say Rosie was joking when she said she found that dinner outside the restaurant

Also, Sam...what an idiot! Very naive and she is a Mitchell! The girl is just totally stupid!

No she said it. If I was Kareen I'd have been up those stairs so fast and into the bathroom. And the dog! Can you imagine first time dinner at your boyfriends house with his parents and thats what you have to deal with.
One other question now. Is EE turning into Hollyoaks? Its October and geting cold now yet still the females of Walford are running around in what can only be described as fanny pelmets (well Sasha and Kareena) and tiny tops (Zoe an Vicki). The girls in Chester now matter what the weather is like are always out in their micro minis.
Sam needs a good slap to beat sense into her. Also Peggy was very naieve (sp?) too. You think she would have listined to Minty and Billy adne ven if she wasn't 100% sure about their story she would have called Phil or asked Marcus to keep an eye on Sam.
