Anyone catch Kelly Rolland's performance on the Graham Norton show?

Wasn't bad, I must say, just a shame she can as much to talent shows as she does to a stage. Reminds me of why I "used" be a fan and actually quite fond of her.

I thought it was awful, i actually rewound it to show my wife, it was the worst miming I've ever seen. Looked to me like she knew it was bad too.

She was not miming.

Hopefully she will sing it live on XF instead of lip sync to full playback.

Song was zzzzzzzzzzz

I liked her sitting on the sofa chatting, but the song was very boring and seemed to go on for ages.

So did I. Her song was so boring that my mind drifted away until she'd finished singing.....

She didn't seem to be singing at her normal strength so I think her throat isn't still up to speed. There is no denying that girl can sing, but I thought she was a little off. Still, Kelly on a bad day is better than many pop singers.

I loved her in the interview bit (Lord Sugar was a bit of a tit but that's to be expected) but the new song's a bit dull and her voice didn't sound great. I'm pretty sure she wasn't miming though, just singing to a backing track that had some pre-recorded vocals in it.

Her performance was okay but I've seen much better ones she's done. And she didn't mime at all, there was a backing track as well as her vocals.

Saw the show and thought the song was great.

Loved the song!

I read a while back about the pressure placed on studios/media etc not to allow Kelly as much exposure as Beyonce for fear that she would be direct competition to Beyonce.

Whatevers the truth, Kelly has (perhaps out of necessity) drifted towards "europop" and the majority of her success does appear to be in Europe.

I am particularly impressed by her "When Love Takes Over" - towards the end she repeats the word "over" about 8 times - giving each one a different inflection and tone. It's genius. I have a lot of respect for her musical ability.

I'm getting boring now.

Comes across as oversexed and desperate. Everthing about her over the last year has been man desperate. The new sexed up look, constant going on about who she wants to bed, lap dancing Chris Brown, all her music videos.

Her album could have been so much more, she has the better voice but lacks the good songs.

Don't find her new image sexy but cringe and sad because it feels forced. Beyonce manages to have a balance of sassy and sexy. Kelly comes across like she would lay they and let a que of men bang her

I think they are trying to market her as an older Rihanna and for me it doesn't work.

This was a good performance though

I love Kelly and Beyonce, but Kelly could never be competition for Beyonce. Sorry but look at Kelly's performance last night against any of Beyonce's performances from the past few years and you'll see that this is just all media hype.
