Don't let Tess see that yellow dress and red shoes......

The bands were far more prominent in both those clips added to the ambiance in my opinion.
I preferred the camera angles too, rather than those the BBC use some of the time.

Yes... and you'll note that the hand-held microphone is a staple prop... of all French interviewing / broadcasting.

That's a far better way to go, trying to fit a power pack into a skimpy outfit and all the potential problems for equipment failure is not worth it, just bung 'em a mike when they get to the judges.

Indeed, far better. They also do it on the German and Australian versions.
On DWTS there were a couple of injuries caused by people -pros and celebs- falling on their battery packs. Especially in training.
Didn't it also happen on Strictly?
