Hate to point out the bleeding obvious but it would very much be a loss for the show. It would leave them two acts short.

Probably the usual made up crap, but if Janet left it would be a blessing. I don't hate her at all, but she can't sing very well, is not versatile and lacks the X factor. Shouldn't have been put through to the lives and is uncomfortable to watch.

craig I'm warming to now he's got a better haircut.

simple solution bring back the rest of the contestants that the judges voted off in the first week of live shows.

X factor is finished as a series as far as i'm concerned

I've just read in the Daily Nonse that Sophie is show-sick and wants to return. Apparently, she's been seen sat in the street outside the house crying A swap could be in the offing.

Problem here is these acts are serious about their singing and the xfactor is a ratings and entertainment show once the voice starts good singers in the future will go for that and XF will just have the goldies and jedwards

Thats your opinion but in mine Craig and Janet are amoung the strongest competitiors this year (even if I like tem or not its a fact )and if they were to both go then there will be no coming back from that and programme will be damaged this year and maybe permanently. Its a complete mess this year.

Craig and Janet may have had a good chance but they are both so mediocre. Craig looks and sounds terrible in the M&S ad and could never have a long term career.

I cannot understand why this show has stylists, as the acts should just be allowed to wear what they want to wear and feel comfortable in, as I have said for years, whoever dresses the acts wants shooting, as 90% of the time they look awful. Janet has mentioned this already, as I can understand her concern, as she looks like she has got dressed in the dark every week, but a so called specialist "stylist" has chosen to dress her like that, which is ridiculous, as Janet could not look any worse if she picked her own outfit.

It is the same with song choices, the judges/mentors pick some songs that are completely wrong, you see the acts struggling in rehearsals and admitting they do not want to sing the song, but they are often forced to, which again I think is wrong, they should be allowed to pick their own songs, as if they are not happy, they are not going to perform to their full potential, ruining their chances in the show.

The acts should just be allowed to be themselves, instead of the show trying to make them something they are not, as I think that is a big problem with acts wanting to leave, it is too forced and manufactured, instead of being natural.

Most of that is likely fake, but what I got out of it is the potential GOOD news of Louis quitting.

As for his alleged anger over the other judges "wanting to win", if he really said that, who exactly does he think he was sitting a few seats down from for years? Someone who DIDN'T want to win?

Also I love how there's implied criticism of Kelly "wanting to win", when she JUST got over being criticized for not caring about the show. Make up your mind!

Also great is how Louis is saying the show is too competitive... but also that he thinks its BORING. The man contradicts himself in the same interview often.

But anyone who watched the interview with Louis knows that was in response to a question about whether he would be back next year - nothing at all to do with quitting now

it's all just made up crap

I'm starting to see a pattern here, even wild child Frankie said he needed to get away from that house cause it was stressing him out. Others have complained about the stress of the house, the pressures of the show. I think it's even more of a messed up situation than anything we've heard so far.

The entire series from beginning to end is a fiasco this year. I bet they can't see the back of it quick enough to being a re-group meeting about next year.

I totally disagree that they are the strongest competitors. Janet mucked up her songs in two consective weeks. She isn't as versatile performer as she thinks she is.

Craig is simply not a great singer and very forgettable.

Not Simon's biggest fan, but at least his ego kept things in check when he was around.

Those people who think that two of the acts just quitting wouldn't hurt the show, just because they in their own selfish opinion do not like those acts, are self-centred fools. I could use stronger words, in fact.

Two acts (any two acts) just walking out would be a disaster for the show, and it would cause the format to look like collapsing.

Dino, I agree with what you say however. Every year we get this, contestants complaining about feeling pressured to have their look changed, their image changed, songs they don't like being forced on them, etc etc. I can see there is always a balance in these things, but really the acts do need to have a little freedom to express themselves.

And that should be true for all of them.

Someone should make a movie called "The X-Factor". It would be a hot drama to watch!
