It happens to me occasionally with The Daily Politics and also Newsnight, and when it's happened I have noticed the recording schedule has set itself to record the programme next several days into the future instead of the next episode. The first time I noticed it I cancelled the incorrectly scheduled recording then set it to record the next episode and iirc it didn't record and set itself to the same day in the future. I get round it by editing the schedule to record every weekday, which cancels the series and accurate record and records at the time specified.

Didn't record last episode of "The Syndicate" BBC1 on Tuesday at 21:00

Looked at Timer and it said 21:00 to 00:00 instead of 21:00 to 22:00 !!!

mine missed click last week so I just deleted the schedule and redid it and all's good,
It happened a few weeks ago with most of my scheduled recordings so just re-scheduled them all and its all ok

Since my last post I have carried out the following steps, which so far (touch wood) may have fixed my missed recordings issues.

1. Note down my recording schedule, Power down and un plug Humax.
2. Remove case and VERY gently vacuum out the dust (5 years worth) taking very great care not to damage anything.
3. Plug back in and re-power, but not connect aerial.
4. Do a re-scan, and cancel to clear memory.
5. Do a factory re-store, again cancel scan for channels.
6. Manually scan for channels on UHF channels of Sutton Coldfield Tx
7. Put back in scheduled recordings.

So far no missed recordings
