I think she should apologise to Amelia full stop whether she wins or not - for rejecting her like she did at the start, I dont think she will though. (If she or another reject does I would submit its grossly unfair because they missed half the show). Its worth remembering the only reason they've come back is because Frankie has dropped out.
Then again if it had been a Top 16 would it have been so bad?
I guess you cant have it both ways. Rejecting 4 contestants the way they did definitely wasnt fair. And now bringing them back doesnt seem fair either?

They can completely kiss goodbye to the entire sorry saga.... if ANY contestant who joins the live shows half way through the series is allowed to win. They may as well just axe the whole thing there and then.

Once again, Amelia gave the weakest performance out of all the girls. Kelly made (in my opinion) the correct decision under the circumstances.

It seems to me that your issue is with Kelly. What about Gary, who arguably made an even bigger mistake by putting through Frankie over James?

I dont think she needs to aplogise to be honest -she had to pick someone to go-maybe at the time Amelia seemed the right choice. Her MJ song was awful although that wasnt her fault-and at least she is getting a second chance!

Agreed that one of the contestants winning if they joined now would be an utter farce.

Kelly did her job, as the show required her to do, the same as every other judge had to. She voted to remove one of her own contestants. She HAD to do it.

She picked Amelia. Some believe she made the wrong choice. Personally, in her place, I would have sent home Sophie. But she chose Amelia, and that was her assessment at that time, which I believe she made based on her own judgement. Nothing wrong with that.

This twist is what it is. If Amelia wins the vote today, Kelly will once more be her mentor, and will do her job and back Amelia to the hilt. And if she has any sense, Amelia will accept that with open arms and do her very best.

So if Amelia came back, and then if Amelia won the show, no-one deserves any apologies from anyone.

Did Kelly make the right choice? Maybe hindsight will prove she did not, but that makes no difference. She did what she thought was best at the time. The same as every other judge did.

Totally agree Lizzy. Kelly had 4 strong contenders and on the night Amelia was the worst out of the 4 girls. She has nothing to apologise for. It was Kelly that put her in her final 4 in the first place. if it wasnt for Kelly Amelia wouldnt have made it to lives!

I also agree about her bad mouthing x factor, she seems to think she is way above the show. funny she is now begging for votes to get on the show she didnt need, to twitter and facebook followers who only know who she is because of said show.

I'm usually a good judge of how well the contestants do, and whilst I'm a die hard Janet fan, I think Amelia could actually go further IF PEOPLE ARE WILLING to give her a chance.

in all honesty i liked 2 shoes but i think she was voted off because she was pregnant, so i dont see them being back :C

It was all planned. Why the hell do you think Amelia agreed to sing the song she sang first week - unless she knew that it was only the beginning of something. She doesn't look like the kind of girl that takes shit from anyone - and if meek, mild-mannered Craig chose his own song in the first week - why didn't she say to Kelly 'No - I am NOT going to sing a song thats about fathering a child and should obviously be sung by a man'

There had to be 'seen to be' a reason for Kelly to vote her off - and by giving her crap styling and a totally inappropriate song to sing - not many people would argue with her.

If it wasn't for Kelly Amelia wouldn't even have made it to judges houses... why should she apologise? Amelia should be thanking her for the exposure not being the obnoxious ungrateful brat that she has been.

Amelia has as much chance of winning the show this year as Frankie does.

This was part of the competition, if Kelly needs to apologise to Amelia then Gary needs to apologize to James, Tulisa to 2 Shoes, Louis to JonJo. Then you have to factor in the 16 acts rejected at Judge's Houses so all in all 20 acts deserve an apology then?

Why would Kelly apologise. On the first live show, Kelly made her decision based on the four performances she saw from which Amelia's was the weakest. Since leaving, Kelly's kept in contact with Amelia and supported her from the reports I've seen. There's no reason for Kelly to appologise if she mentors Amelia to victory.

Best performance of any act this year!

I think her earlier performances were amazing and really backed her. Her live show performance wasn't very good and she's done herself no favours since leaving. Would be interesting to see if she could turn it around.

I think it's unfair for any of them to come back though, they've not had to go through the pressures of the last few weeks as the others have... they'll be coming in fresh and well rested.

I think it's only fair she gets to face the public vote, after all there is no way Sophie was in Amilia's league!

Got to laugh at the people thinking she might win.

Assuming she is the one selected for tonight, I think Amelia will have a tough time getting enough votes to get past this weekend or the next.
