I don't like her. She was horrible to Liz and she bullies people when she thinks she can get away with it. So I think it serves her right that somebody treats her badly in return.

I find it refreshing to have a man being a bit of a "love-psycho" rather than it being women all the time.

Shelly is wrecking my head now. She was ok when she came into the soap at first but now I can't stand her. I hate the way she lumbers around the bar, my old uncle with a bad hip walks like that what is her problem? I'm not a fan of Liz McDonald by any stretch of the imagination but what has Shelly got against her? And as for the way she moans about the resonsibility of running and managing the pub?????????I hate more stress and trauma when I brush my teeth! Also when she was telling Fred that if Liz came back he would have to find himself another bar manager well why didn't he just get Liz back? She has run pubs before and is better than Shelly.

COME ON FRED GIVE HER THE SACK - and she goes on about Liz not doing any work, yet every other minute she is either in the back room with Sunita or at Charlies Hovel watching him watching her do nothing. BOOOOOOOORING !!!

Shelley was a streetwise, feisty, strong character when she first appeared, with Dougie.

Now she's weak, pathetic and insecure. Yet another visit from the personality transplant fairy methinks.

I think the only thing Shelly currently has going for is her friendship with Sunita.

I don't like her character much at the moment, the way she speaks to Fred it is like she owns the Rovers. I really would love Fred to tell her either Lizcomes back or she can pack her bags and make Liz the manager of the Rovers (I'm not a big fan of Liz's either, but I really love this side to her when she had a go at Charlie)

I agree Shelley's character has deteriorated, she used to be funny and feisty but she's now quite unlikeable. However I don't think it's a case of a personality transplant, I think the change is the result of what she went through with Peter. It made her very insecure because she realised what a poor judge of character she was. The all the shenanigans with her mother - again made the wrong choice and is probably starting to realise it. So she is now very suspicious and touchy.

You can see now in Sally L's performance that Shelley is very confused as to what to think - she really wants to believe Charlie and confirm that she's made the right choice of bloke this time.

The thing that annoys me most about her is that sheepdog fringe .

Perhaps I am missing something. Liz Macdonald pops up from nowhere, is given a job by Fred (although Shelly is the manager) and then a room in what is Shelly's home without a word. And she has been bone idle in the pub (mind you everyone else is, How come everyone can have 1/2 break whenever). Liz has spread gossip about Sunita, her best friend. So I can see why Shelly doesn't like LIz.

Having said that I do beleive she is acting a bit pathetic and as result has tarnished what was a good character.

The only reason why men go out with Shelley is because she has big breasts....other than that I feel sorry for the girl...

She needs a good friend and a nice decent man that won't hurt to make her happy...
