Excited for Misha.

Janet may do Somebody to Love in this version:

Oh yeah, forgot about that part, hopefully she does

Queen could definitely have a show to themselves, but Lady Gaga couldn't, because her singles discography consists of like 11 electropop songs and a rock/country ballad (You and I). That's not enough variety, but Queen could have a whole episode with their discography I think.

They had Queen night back in 2009. It just showed what a good singer Freddie Mercury was...

Sorry but Queen are bigger than Lady Gaga, they have more great songs than Gaga does in her hat.

The word 'obviously' springs to mind.

I love Marcus and I was sure he would pull off Reet Petite, when everyone was saying it was an awful choice. However I honestly can't see how this song can be good for him?? He said he is twisting it, but he will have to completely change it for it to work. If this goes well I will eat my hat and laugh at this post, but seriously can't see it working

I prefer Lady Gaga (shocker, look at my username :P) but yeah, Queen night would be better for the amount of songs they have. It's random to compare them to have one theme night combined, the only links there are are that Lady Gaga is influenced by Queen and Brian May plays guitar on You & I (which officially credits We Will Rock You as a song it 'incorporates elements of'), that's it!

Yes, I said that beforehand.

I hold my hands up, I was wrong. I don't even like Marcus, but his performance last week was good.

But I suspect lightning will not strike twice.

Freddie Mercury was a legend, nobody will ever replace him. I am just so glad that Misha isn't doing a Queen song, as if she had put in her lame rap, Freddie surely would have risen from his grave, given himself that deadly std & jumped right back in.

Interesting. I've never actually heard any other version of that before other than the Queen original, so my first reaction was "oh god what have they given Janet?".

The approach taken in that link though might work.

I still think "It's A Kind Of Magic" would have been much much better for her.

It is quite fitting as Lady Gaga's name is taken from Radio Gaga.

Thanks. I looked everywhere but the obvious place. lol

Interesting songs eh? Ben Mills did a cover of Somebody to Love before. Not sure if Janet would go down the same gospel route. I'd love to hear her sing acapella though.

Whatever Kitty does I hope it's better than Katy Perrys attempt.

Telephone should be good, I'd love to hear the girls do it acapella or like this rachel and sunshine duet.

Wish someone was doing "Live Forever" that is my fav song of all time! Janet would suit it

a reminder of just how much shit Queen recorded. Sorry, they did a few good tunes and Freddy had a great voice but they didn't half record some shite: Or maybe they've been unlucky in that their worst tracks have endured. 'We are the Champions', 'Another One Bites the Dust' ... compared to these´, Matt's 'Run For Your Life' is an absolute corker!

Yes, I agree, that's the other one that would suit Janet really well, other than the one I noted above.

Both of them from Highlander of course!

We have the Celtic link
