that is exactly how I feel as well. DS has always enhanced the experience for me as well and that is what I think I shall miss the most. Do you think we can do our analysis without actually watching it and knowing who they are?

It's like an addiction and that's what C5 backed this year. Knowing that there will always be some that simply can't stay away.....

think I'm going into detox soon.

Just to say thanks for a fun and sometimes stressful time on this thread, what a blast. I didn't get through all my votes, but hey ho, the best man won. I am so happy

I'm definitely having withdrawal symptoms - it's a bit sad but I've started rewatching all the episodes I sky+d - I started recording them on the night of Tashie's eviction which was the first time Faye and Aaron properly interacted.

Oh dear. They will get that I guess for a while being in the public eye kind of. It's hard cos as much as I loved watching them, you have to accept now that they have private lives and that has to be respected.

They are not a soap opera.

I think the hardest thing for them is that their relationship started off with them spending every minute, virtually of every day together. Living together.

Where you go from there is not exactly easy! Especially if they get hounded by folk asking for what is happening between them.

It's hard though, because when the show finishes that's it, these characters you've known for months, just mostly disappear and when you've invested in something like Aaron and Faye that's hard.

Perspective has to be kept though, they are just to people and in a few years, more than likely won't be at all famous.

Good luck to them both though. But I guess we've all just got to let them go now!

I don't do Xfactor or SCD, I might give IACGMOH a go, not the same though.

there is a vid on twitter of aaron at a welcome home party last night with his mates and he dancing the wee hours away in traditional aarorn stylee. It is quite funny cos even the guy taking the vid seems to be shaking his head at one point at the aaron dancing. However, there are other girls dancing with/around aaron - as you might expect. Some people on twitter are asking if its all over with faye cos aaron is dancing with/on the same floor as, other girls. Its hilarious cos if you watch the vid aaron is just dancing like aaron, completely in a world of his own, he could be on the floor with monkeys and giraffes and he wouldn't be any the wiser.

Voting for Aaron has cost me a fortune but I am so happy that he triumphed especially against all the flak he has been getting on the outside.

I hope he will be able to get over the awful crowd reception and realise that it was just a load of sour (mainly Jay) fans and not reflective of the huge amount of support he really has.

Does anyone have an idea of the percentage Aaron won by? I read somewhere it was as high as 75% in the final vote against Jay

X Factor has been rubbish this year - I am really not a fan of any of the acts - I liked the Risk and am still shocked that they got the least votes last week. I've enjoyed SCD - I love Harry and Aliona and Chelsea and Pasha are my favourite couples. IAC - I will watch it but I always prefer the civilian versions of shows (such as BB) rather than watching celebrities massaging their egos.

I read 54% in the four way vote and 70% plus in the two way, not confirmed though.

Blimey, you had me going there.
I just got back from lunch and this was the first post I saw. I was thinking "What's he done now?"

And then I scrolled down . . . and discovered I like him even more.

I could see him writing a column - his take on things would be intelligent and interesting. I can't see him as professional party goer, or in front of the lens in any capacity other than to earn a few bob whilst he can. I don;t thing that would satisfy him long term though.

Re Faye I think there is a will there from both of them make a go of things and let's face it none of us know when we embark on a relationship whether its going to last or not. I just hope he can find some happiness cos I think he has it a bit rough up until now.”

The reason a lot of us liked Aaron is he isn't like a lot of this years contestants, who had been pursuing media careers prior to entering the house. It seems like BB was a means to a ends rather than a stepping stone onto something else in front of the cameras. That being said he be smart to take the short term offers open to him in the full knowledge that they won't be available in the long term.

I agree he'd be well suited to a legal or research career, he has that kind of mind. He'd offer good analysis or commentary if that was available to him but whether those kind of opportunities will be available to this bunch of housemates is unsure.

Like you I just want to see him happy, whatever that means to him.

speaking of the editing about Aaron & Faye the one that was the most obvious one was were they completely missed out them having a few heart to hearts on the day of the toy task that eventually led to her admitting her guilt of nominating him (when she thought he would nominate her because she couldn't understand why he was angry, he was angry at the wheelchair bit and Faye thought it was about her cos she was a drunken wreck that night and hit the self destruct button) and they ended up back together in bed etc... they only let you know again when the eviction show they were showing the previous days HL's as you do and because HM's were speaking to Faye about it you got a mini flashback of them in bed together.......... then the few days later when Faye won the "noms" bit they showed the noms and edited it, Marcus voice overs and everything as if it was Aarons first time knowing about it and didn't include the bit were Faye told people Aaron knew from the clip on the site/FB.
