I would've been just as happy for them to walk off into the sunset together but I nonetheless bought the magazines and supported their media appearences (if truth be told I was loathe to buy OK! Magazine but my JJJ support pushed me on. I didn't but the one that featured their final split interview). The day that conversation with Josie happened they both looked shattered.
I'd be very happy for Aaron and Faye not to get caught up in a similar situation. I want them to feel free to pursue something in the media if they wish to without the ties of such an all emcompassing contract like Josie had. If there's a reason for her turning her back on fame it's because her deal with Desmond/Channel 5 has left her with menial experience and little professional prospects rather than a desire to move to the country.
It's already been mentioned but I have to say, after hearing him on Gemma Cairney's 1Xtra show (interesting to hear she was no longer a BB fan as she used to the BB Radio Show that ran during BB9) I think Aaron would do very well on radio if he chose to give it a go. He has that verbal sharpness that a lot of broadcasters need to keep the listeners hooked. Most BB contestants, especially the winners, are encouraged to get into TV but radio could actually really suit him.”

One thing stood out to me in the interviews and that was his son's reaction to the booing:
"..he was upset for a few days at first because he didn’t know why people were talking about his daddy – and I was upset about him seeing me being booed..."
That is why Ch5 should have controlled the crowd - no thought for the impact it would have on a 6 year old boy

this is what really annoys me about all this "shocked that he won BS" - he was way ahead in the polls, he was second favourite at the bookies for some weeks prior to the final. why was it such a shock?

Yes and Aaron sounded quite relaxed - it wasn't an awkward interview at all and I think Faye being there must have helped

Completely agree with you there. I think a lot of his fans are from the shall we say a slighter older demographic. His going off on his own at times and not feeling he was able to join in with the antics of the younger housemates I could fully understand why he did that (although having said that there were lots of times he joined in the fun as well
) - I think also a lot of the time he was missing his son and just wanted some space - he seems the kind of guy that needs his own space at times. You can't be upbeat all the time. From what I gather Jay went into moods quite a lot himself but this wasn't really highlighted in the edits was it .... mmmmm I also think the some people who originally were fans of his but changed their minds may have put him on a pedestal instead of seeing a fully rounded individual with both good and bad points. I think Aaron would have coped better with some more mature housemates tbh. I glad that Faye has accepted Aaron with both his good and bad points - she really is mature beyond her years. Don't forget she went off into huffs at times too so I think they are quite similar to each other.
